The First Punch

When I got to where the tent was supposed to be I started to help Ray set it up. When we got the tent up we started to unload all of the merch and hung one of each shirt on the back of the tent. I have to say the PTV tent always looks kick ass.
We put the chairs behind the table and laid the bracelets and other little things on the table. When we got everything set up we sat in the chairs and watched as bands started to walk by. I pulled out my phone to look at the time and it was almost 11.
I could hear all of the soundcheck’s going on and I could hear the crowd building up outside the venue. I kept looking around in front of the tent and saw Tony and Jamie coming towards our tent. Tony’s face lit up when he saw me. I got up from my chair and went towards him. When I got to him he pulled me into his arms. He lifted me up and spun me around. Every time I’m in his arms I feel safe. When I was in Mike’s arms all I felt was fright.
He then put me down and we walked to the tent hand in hand. We got to the tent and the boys sat at the chairs that we had put out for the band. I could tell that it was now either 11 or after 11 because the crowd started to flood in.
It’s been about an hour or so and I see 2 people that I miss so much! Jaime and I jump up from our chairs and bolt through the crowd to Lian and Kel. Jaime beats me to them and he wraps Lian in his arms. As they kiss I finally make it to Kel. I jump up onto him and give him a hug. Kel is one of the few people that I actually love and trust.
“Kel! I’ve missed you so much!” I squealed as I tightened my grip on him. I didn’t want to let go of him. But as I got off of him I noticed that he was wearing a Motionless In White tee shirts with the sleeves rolled, skinny jeans and red Chuck Taylor's. Looks like Lian dressed him today, he would’ve never worn this on his own. He smiled at me .
I pulled him over to the tent and we sat down. Lian and Jaime were already there and they weren’t more than 3 inches away from each other.
I couldn’t wait for the PTV set when Jaime would propose. I just know that Lian will say yes. She loves him so much.. She’ll be so happy.
“So Tony, this is Lian's older brother, Kel. Kel this is Tony.” Tony nodded and went to go shake Kel’s hand. The only reason why Kel actually shook his hand is because he knows I fully trust Tony.
“Nice grip!” Tony commented running his fingers through his hair. Kel laughed and he ran a comb through his hair.
“Mike won’t show right?” Kel asked curiously.
“He better fucking not.” Tony said with a bitter look on his face.
“Yeah.. If he does Imma cop a breeze!” Tony looked to me with a confused look on his face.
“He means he’s gonna leave… He’s a greaser.. He talks in 50’s.” Lian explained for what seems like the millionth time this month.
“Oh okay! Like from the book The Outsiders? I read that book in like 8th grade!.” Tony bursted out. Jaime started laughing and so did Lian, Tony, Ray, and I. Kel started to laugh along too. In some ways he could be like a greaser from that book, but for the most part he was way too shy.
“So are we just gonna chill here all day? Or will we go to the set?” Lian asked.
“Uhm, Kel do you mind staying here with Ray for the set or do you want to go out into the crowds and go to a set or two?” I questioned him.
“Uhm… I think I’ll hang here with Ray. At least I know her from when we all went to school.” Kel and Ray are the same age, 24, and were in the same grade at our school.
“Okay cool. So Lian and I will go to the PTV set, while you guys stay here.” I smiled and held Tony’s hand.
We saw a few fans come up to our table. One girl with green hair was first.
“Hi! Can I have the white shirt up in the corner in small?” Ray stood up and went to go get the shirt. I let go of Tony’s hand, grabbing the money from her hand.
“Oh my god. Hi Tony! Hi Jamie! I love you guys!” The boys started to laugh.
“Hey, how’s Warped going?” Jamie asked.
“It’s good! We just saw All Time Low! It’s our first time going to Warped Tour!” She pointed to the girls behind her, who were now curious as to why band members were at the merch table.
“That’s good!” Both Tony and Jaime laughed.
“Do you mind if we get a picture or signature with you both?” She asked with an eager smile on her face.
“Why not both?!” Jaime said jumping up from his chair. The girls all laughed.
Tony and Jaime went in front of the tent and the girls all took out their phones. I came around the front and took all of their phones so I could take a picture for them.
When all the pictures were taken they got stuff signed. We gave the girl with green hair, who’s name is Gabby, her shirt. Her friends also bought merch and they left. Waving goodbye to us as the moved away.
"Well guys our set is in like a half an hour. We should probably get going. Mike and Vic are already there.” Jaime said looking at his phone.
Lian, Tony, Jaime, and I all got up from our seats. We started to go out of the tent when I said bye to Ray and Kel. They waved and we quickly weaved through the crowd.
I can’t wait till Jaime pops the question to Lian!!
