Tangled In The Great Escape.

After my confession to Jaime I feel like there's been a weight lifted off my shoulders, I have no more secrets or nothing to hide from him anymore and it feels great. He know about my whole past and that fact that I don't have to keep it a secret anymore feel so relaxing. Though, Jaime is still keeping things from me, he still hasn't told me about his ex girlfriend and I'm really curious to know what happened.

I was snapped out of my daydream by the sound of my front door slamming shut. It was probably Jaime but I got up and out of bed just to check it wasn't a burglar. I put my dressing gown on over my pjs because I was cold, put my slippers on then walked downstairs. I saw Jaime's shoes in the hall so I knew it was him so I walked into the kitchen to see him standing there.

"Hey handsome." I greeted him, making him jump slightly so he mustn't have seen me coming. He looked up and smiled.

"Hey sleeping beauty." He said. I looked at the clock and saw it was noon.

"Oh my god, I never wake up this late!" My eyes widened in shocked. He just shrugged his shoulders.

"You probably just wore yourself out last night crying but it's understandable so it's okay." He reassured me. I guess he was right. I sighed heavily, walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head on his chest.

"Where did you go while I was asleep then?" I asked taking in the familiar sent if his clothes.

"I got you a present." He said. I looked up to him in shock.

"What kind of present?" I asked.

"Come and look!" He said happily. I untangled myself from him and he took me over to a small box on the kitchen counter. He picked it up and held it out to me. "Open it." I took the box from his hands and opened it slowly. I gasped when I saw the beautiful necklace laying inside, I didn't know what to say. What made him buy this?

"Jaime.. it's beautiful." I smiled. It was a beautiful classic cut diamond necklace, it looked expensive. "This looks expensive, how much did this cost?" I asked looking at him.

"Nothing that I can't afford for my beautiful girlfriend." He said and kissed me softly. I couldn't help but smile and feel lucky. He gently took the necklace from my hand and placed it around my neck. I spun round, put my arms around his neck and kissed him again. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed back with the same amount of pressure. I knew where this was headed, as much as I wanted to, we couldn't because we needed to meet the guys in less than an hour and me and Jaime have had sex yet and I kinda want our first time together to be special, it that so bad?

"We can't right now Jaime." I said pulling away from him. He groaned with a pout, which I must say was adorable.

"Why not?"

"Because we're meeting the guys soon and is it so bad that I want our first time together to be special and not rushed?" I asked. He then grinned and kissed me again.

"I understand and special is what you'll get." He winked then walked out of the room. That boy is a strange one. I shook my head and walked upstairs to get ready.

Once I was completely ready, I looked at myself in the mirror and checked my appearance, ever since I've been with Jaime I feel like I need to look nice for him or he'll get bored of me. I smiled at my outfit then walked downstairs to see Jaime spread out on the couch watching TV. I chuckled at him.

"You ready to go?" I asked. He turned and smiled at me.

"I am pretty lady!" He said and stood up. I took his hand then we left for Vic's house. His house wasn't too far away but it wasn't walking distance so we took Jaime's car. The whole journey there I kept admiring my new necklace but I hate the thought of Jaime spending a lot of money on me without a reason, it was sweet but unnecessary.

We arrived at Vic's house about 10 minutes later and we both hopped out of the car. Vic's house is usually the chill out place because it's bigger and he has more things to do. I knocked on the door and Vic opened it with a smile.

"Hey guys!" He smiled.

"Hey." We said in unison. I chuckled with a head shake and walked inside. I went into the lounge and saw Tony and Mike. I sat next to Tony and smiled.

"Hey guys!" I said to them.

"Hey, how are you?" Tony asked.

"I'm okay!" I grinned. Jaime then walked in.

"Babe, me and Vic are just popping to the shops to get some stuff, be back soon!" He said and kissed me.

"Okay!" I replied then he walked out. "So how are you guys?" I asked.

"I'm good!" Tony smiled.

"Mmm." Mike mumbled as he was playing on his phone. I feel like Mike doesn't like me, whenever I try to talk to him he always seemed to shake me off or act like he doesn't care, maybe he doesn't but I haven't done anything to him..

"Where did you get that necklace?" Tony asked looking at the diamond necklace around my neck.

"Oh Jaime got it for me today, I don't know why but he thought he needed to spend a lot of unnecessary money on me." I explained. Tony and Mike both looked at each other with the same expression, worry.

"Not again." Mike mumbled. I didn't understand what was wrong.

"What?" I asked feeling like I was missing something.

"Has Jaime told you about his ex girlfriend yet?" Tony asked. I shook my head and he sighed.

"Okay, I don't think Jaime is going to tell you anytime soon but I feel like you should know."

"Tell me what?"

"When Jaime was with his ex girlfriend they had the perfect relationship, everyone was jealous of them and they were just happy. But one day Jaime found her cheating on him with another guy, a normal person would break up with them but Jaime was in love with this girl and didn't want to lose her so he kept buying her expensive gifts to make her stay, it really messed him up. He was getting desperate because he was so in love with her but she didn't love him, she just loved the gifts. In the end we made him break up with her and he hasn't dated until you." He explained. I just sat there shocked. What kind of person would do that to a great guy like Jaime? Wait, is that what the gift is for? Is Jaime trying to buy my love so I don't leave him?

"Is that what he's doing with me?" I asked.

"It seems like it.. I just don't want him getting like he was before, please talk to him." Tony said. He seemed really desperate and it felt like he really cared for Jaime.

"When he comes back I'll talk to him." I said.
