Daddy's Runaway Baby is All Grown Up

Dani's POV


You know that moment in your life when everything stops, like the Earth is standing absolutely still, and you are given a second to reflect on your past? That's this. My entire world is stuck, motionless, as it stare into those gorgeous brown eyes of the boy who's heart I broke.

Derek quickly figured that something was going on and excused himself back to his corner of the office. I didn't know what to do. What to say. I just stood there, staring.

"Hey" Chris said, reaching his arm out to me. "I'm Chris, Chris Cerulli"

WHAT? I was confused now. Why was he introducing himself to me?

"Hi Chris" I spoke barely above a whisper.

Chris walked past me, and sat on the couch beside my desk. He looked around the room, out the window, and even at the ceiling. He looked everywhere, but at me.

"Chris..." I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time. No one had ever bothered to cone find me. No one had cared that I was gone. This just proves it. They've all forgotten me.

If Chris wanted to play this stupid game, let's go!

"So Chris, why are you here today?"

"My band thinks I'm crazy"

"Why do they think that?" I was a little scared now. I'd known Ghost and Ricky for a very long time, if they thought something was wrong with Chris, there usually was.

"I see her...everywhere" he replied, sounding more and more dead by the moment. Something was killing him.

"who do you see Chris?"

He waiting a moment before replying, almost as if he was trying to figure out her name again.

"Dani" he whispered my name. My office went silent. The only sounds came from my unsteady breathing while Chris sat motionless on my couch.

I knew new I had changed a lot in the last 4 years, but it wasn't enough that I'd be unrecognizable. I thought it over and decided to take my chances.

"Chris, my darling" I whispered taking his face in my hands as I sat beside him. "I'm right here love. I'm okay!"

His brown orbs bored into my green ones and he shook his head slightly before saying something I'll never forget.

"That's what all the hallucinations say"

So I don't know if you saw my comment below, but if you haven't please go read it. I'm so sorry about not updating but there is good news, Dale is done stalking me at least for now. He's moved on due to his daughters team starting up before mine so he has to bring her places instead of watching me! Yay! What do you think of Chris? Is he really crazy? If he's here, is everyone else as well? Please confine to comment/rate/subscribe! Literally going to continuously update all day to make up for the last 2 weeks!
