The Throw-Aways

Epilogue: The Death She Deserved

Relaxing on a beach, a woman sipped mango juice and Jack from a coconut. It tasted sweet and of bitter memories.

Only three years ago, she had last seen the old nemesis, Raven Skarsson. What, she had been about twenty five or so? Okay, so she was married to Austin Carlile-yuck. They were still playing popular gigs-ugh. The band was gaining popularity and had hired Dante, Skars, Nico, and Kylar as managers, merch people, and techs for their crew-double ick!

Seriously, they thought they had it good? Well, who was sitting on a beach in Mexico? The woman thought to herself snootily as she listed off all the old classmates.

“Miss Jillian, there is a storm coming in, would you like to come in?” A server asked the woman, who simply dismissed his warning with the wave of her hand. The waves tumbled ferociously onto the beach near the chair where she was relaxing.

“Stupid idiot.” She grumbled. Suddenly, a pair of hands yanked her upwards, dragging her through the sand.

“Hands up!” The voices growled in a language that barely passed as English. As fate would have it, it was the Mexican Drug Cartel. Two of the hired hands dragged Jay to a secluded back road.

Within two minutes, Jay had been curb stomped five times until she couldn’t even speak. Her brain was fading out when lightning crackled over head.

“Crap, let’s get out of here! Hurricane!” They screamed back and forth. Jay was left to the brutality of the storm and the two Drug Cartel mercenaries sped to a truck, driving down the road. Blood streamed out of Jay’s mouth, through broken teeth and a world of numbing pain.

Someone, somewhere in the world must’ve been praying for a storm because that’s exactly what Jay got. As the girl struggled to her feet, a bolt of lightning shot down from the sky, ripping through her flesh. A line of white scarred her back as she flew into the air. Her body landed with a flop in the white sand. Little red specks dotted the surrounding area.

Yet somehow, this woman was still alive.

Her mouth formed a word to yell in agony, but it never reached her. For suddenly, a girl ran through the beach, screaming nonsense about revenge and vengeance, about a forest of broccoli and a bucket of…acid?

Well, the whole forest part wasn’t true, but unfortunately for Jay, the acid part was.

As she lay on the beach, the woman came up to her. The long dreads of knotted hair swayed over the looming person’s face. As Jay opened her eyes, a large ten gallon bucket of flesh melting acid was poured on her.

“VENGANCE IS MINE!!!” The hag cackled and hobbled down the beach, through the storm, and past fleeing Drug Cartel vans.

So far, this was not Jillian Brentson’s best day.

Being struck by lightning, curb stomped multiple times, and having acid dumped on her didn’t count as one of the ‘top ten best days of my life’.

Well, it was about to get a whole lot worse.

Now this storm in Mexico had really picked up. In the distance, Drug Cartel vans were fleeing and that old hag was cackling on about bananas down the road. Overhead, a swirling vortex had formed. Waves crashed about Jay and carried her into the sea. The salt water stung the bare flesh that had been gnawed at by the acid. What potent liquid!

Well, her body was slowly leaking of her life giving blood. It was thought to be the girl’s last moments on earth, but by some rule of fate, a much worse destiny was in mind.

A fin appeared next to her.

Jay’s mouth barely opened to scream before a shark bit into her and dragged her under the ocean. There goes the end of a cruel woman, right?

Nope!

Fate had one last trick for her.

The shark bit her in half, each side floating to the top and causing a frenzy of swimming predators. A sudden gust of wind carried the final remnants of Jay into an active volcano where she was dumped into the lava, burning to death in less than a second.

And so, a great evil in the world was disposed of.

The. End.

Notes

Okay, so that was totally illogical and random, but you know what? It was all for you guys! It's all for those of you who hated Jay and just didn't like her! Is it bad to wish someone to die?
