*Ben’s POV*

It had been hours since Erin had had my baby sister and we couldn’t find my father. His phone went straight to voicemail any time any of us tried to call and no one had even seen him leave. Tay and I were staying at the hospital with Erin while Andy and Ash had left after meeting Leia. Tay and I hadn’t told Erin, who was sleeping. She had asked for him a few times and we had lied and said he went to the house to get some things for her and the baby. She had been satisfied with the answer and fell asleep. However, I knew that if he wasn’t back by the time she woke up we would have to tell her the truth.

“Where could he be?” Tay asked for the hundredth time.
“I don’t know,” I sighed. “It’s so unlike him. He would want to be here.”
“I’ve asked Cam and he said that even his parents have no idea where he is,” Tay said.“Sally and her parents have no idea either. They are out looking for him right now. I told Andy not to tell Ash so she doesn’t worry but I know he told Mike and he is out looking for dad right now also.”
“What if something happened to him?” she asked.“Like what? He took the car so he wasn’t kidnapped,” I pointed out.“You’re right,” she mumbled.“Why don’t you go home and try and get some sleep? I’ll stay with Erin tonight. It would be good to have someone at home incase dad comes home,” I suggested.“Yeah, I guess you’re right. I’ll call Cam and see if his parents can come pick me up,” she said, stepping out of the waiting room.

As she left I sent another text to my father begging him to answer. Of course I got no response. I rubbed my temples and took a deep breath. For my father not to be here for his newborn and wife I knew something had happened and I was terrified out of my mind but I couldn’t let Tay or anyone else worry.

A few moments later Tay came back in to let me know that Cam and Jaime were on their way to get her. I hugged her and told her goodbye as she went outside to wait. When she left I walked to the nursery to check on my baby sister before stepping into Erin’s room and taking a seat in the recliner. I sent Sally a quick text telling her Tay was going home and I was with Erin. I sat my phone in my lap and sat in the dark room, slowly nodding off as the sounds of the hospital surrounded me.

*Andy’s POV*

After I had left the hospital, I went to Ash’s house. She was tired and passed out as soon as she laid down in her bed. With my father missing I was restless and ended up joining Alysha and Mike in the living room. I told them what was going on and Mike immediately went off to search for my dad. Alysha and I stayed with Ash as not to alarm her in the event that she did wake up.

I racked my brain trying to figure out where he could be. Tay was home and he wasn’t there. Mike even checked the cemetery and he wasn’t there. His car was gone from the hospital and no one had even seen him leave. Ben had told me not to worry and to take care of Ash but I was worried. I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach and I knew it wouldn’t go away until we found my father.

I was shaken from my thoughts as Alysha softly tapped me on the arm and nodded towards the door where Ashley stood. She was wrapped up in her blanket and looked like she had been crying. I rushed over to her side and pulled her into a hug.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.“I.. I had a nightmare,” she sobbed into my shoulder.
“About what my love?” I asked.“Me, the baby,” she cried.
“What happened?” I asked as I led her to the couch and pulled her onto my lap.
“I.. I went into labor and then there was blood. So much blood,” she cried. “Then the baby came but I couldn’t hear a cry. All I could see was red,” she explained through the tears. I pulled her close, kissing her neck.“I’m not going to let anything happen to you or our child. I am going to be there and I will protect you both. I swear to you, to both of you,” I promised as I rubbed her stomach.
“I’m scared,” she whispered.“And I will always be here for you,” I told her. “I love you and we are going to make it through this.”

She nodded and leaned back against me. I wrapped my arms around her swollen belly and held her.

“Wheres dad?” she asked.“He had some errands to run for me,” Alysha told her. It seemed to placate her well enough and she was content to just sit on my lap and watch TV.

*Tay’s POV*

As soon as Cam and Jaime dropped me off at the house, I went inside and made a call to Danielle/Rose. Her phone went straight to voicemail just like my fathers. I let out a frustrated scream and threw my phone across the room. I ran upstairs to my room and changed, grabbing my wallet and going back downstairs to grab my phone. I called a cab to come get me and I stood outside and waited for it.

As I waited I sent a text to Cam and Ben. I told them that I had a suspicion as to where my father was and I was going to check it out. After I sent it I put my phone on silent and stuffed it into my bag just as the taxi was pulling up.

I gave him Danielle and Daryl’s address and told him to hurry. We sped off, the entire time my heart was pounding. I hoped that he wasn’t there but I knew it was the one place that no one would think to check. As the taxi pulled up to their house, my suspicions were confirmed. I saw my father's car parked outside.

I paid the driver and climbed out of the taxi. As he drove off I pulled out my phone to inform everyone where my father was. However, before I could, my phone was knocked out of my hands and a darkness took over and I collapsed.

Notes

I'm the worlds worst and I am so sorry! I have been out of the writing grind for a lot of different reasons. I moved, started a new job, transferred colleges, pretty much started a new life. It's been crazy and I've been out of it. I am sorry but here's a chapter! It may be short but I know Rose has things planned and I need to know what is coming next! So here is my update!
