The Letter

I sat in the back of the restaurant with Alicia, watching as Oli proposed to Ashley. I watched as it all happened. What a bitch. She said no to me! Why would she say yes to Oli?! I clutched the handle of my fork. Alicia was staring at me like I was insane. “You don’t feel this too?” I hissed at her and she kind of shrugged her shoulders.


“Why would I?” She chuckled a bit, “I left Oli years ago.” I glared at her and she stood off a bit. Oli and Ashley got up to leave and I threw a $100 bill on the table and we slowly followed behind them. She clung to Oli like she did me when we were first together, it was so fucking aggravating.

We got into my car and I drove us home. “Why aren’t we going to their place?” Alicia asks. “They’ve got camera’s everywhere.” I sighed. When we got back home Alicia plopped on the couch and I plopped next to her. Then I got a text.


“I saw you tonight.” It said, but it was from a blocked number, I knew who it was.
“Nice to hear from you Oli.” I replied.
“I thought I told you to fuck off. Alicia too. That broad shouldn’t even be near you.”
“She’s not a broad Oli. She’s a better listener than Ashley anyways.”
“Just leave, me and my fucking family alone.” He said but I didn’t answer.


Always such a prick. He has no idea what’s coming for him.
