I woke up the next morning and rushed to the bathroom to vomit. God morning sickness was hell. Being pregnant, sure to hell better be worth all this shit. I felt, and looked like I was about to burst, but I was only halfway through. The joy of twins!



Oli comes in and helps me clean my face and I brush my teeth. "Breakfast today?" He asks and I shake my head. Food isn't too appealing lately. If I smell it, I vomit, if I eat it, I vomit. So I've just given up.



I was sitting on the couch and I turned on the TV. It was Adventure Time. I kind of just went with it. "Do you have plans today Oli?" I asked. "Yeah. We've got to write songs. You can come if you'd like." He said and I nodded.


I got dressed and he drove us to the beach that they normally write at. I sat on a towel and threw my sunglasses on. "Need anything before we start?" Oli asks and I shake my head.


I get up and walk to the snack bar and get a snow cone, fruit punch flavored. The only good thing about Cali is that they're always selling snow cones because it's always hot. I miss New York though, my aunt, and my dad, who I haven't talked to in forever… I've almost lost my Texas-ness.


They were writing and singing when I got back, but a large shadow came up behind me. "Excuse you." I say but they don't move. I look back and see Ricky, so I scream. Oli rushes over and punches him. "Fuck off!" He shouts. "You bastard! Stay away from my family!" Oli shouts.


"I wasn't going to hurt her." Ricky said. "Bullshit." Oli hissed, "Come on Ash, we're filing a restraining order." He said, helped me up, apologized to his band, and we left. "I'm sorry. I always ruin your good times with your friends." I cry. "No, baby shh, not at all." Oli smiles.
