The Letter

I laid on the ground outside of the mansion, was Ashley okay? What about Ricky? I decided I would go down and check. I made my way inside, and then down the basement stairs. Cold, lifeless, a body lie there, waiting for someone to come and save it.
“Ashley?” I whispered. “Ashley? ASHLEY ANSWER ME!”
As I walked closer to the body, I got stiff. No… it couldn’t be… I looked over at her aunt who was taped to a chair, then I looked behind her. “Ashley, oh thank god. You scared the living shit out of me.”
“Sorry Oli. I didn’t kill him, I just stunned him.” She said quietly, untying her aunt.
I picked up Ricky and threw him over my shoulder, carelessly hitting his head on the wall. Ashley, her aunt, and I walked up the stairs. Ashley sat her aunt on the couch and then went with me to the hospital.

~Ashley’s POV~
Oli threw, literally threw, Ricky into the back of the car and we headed to the nearest hospital. I was covered in the blood from my leg, it was killing me, seriously. When we got to the hospital, they had us sit in the waiting room for hours, Ricky was going to become conscience soon.
The doctor called me in first, Oli followed me. I stripped and put on the hospital gown. The doctor came back in. He noticed the huge gash on my leg, but it had stopped bleeding by not, I think my leg was bloodless. First he took me to the scale and weighed me. “My goodness Ms. Manson, you’re extremely skinny for your age. 97.” I kind of smiled, he frowned. “That’s not good.” “Do you see this huge gash on my leg? That is also not good. But it’s there.”
We walked back into the room I was in and he left. What was I supposed to do about my leg?! A nurse opened the door, she motioned for me to come, there was a gurney waiting for me. I laid down on it and she hooked me up to the machines. Oli kissed my forehead and told me he’d be waiting for me.
“Ms. Manson, count backwards from 10.” The nurse said putting a mask on my face. I did as she said and quickly found myself drifting off.



~3 Hours Later~

I saw Oli with Ricky in the waiting room, he was up and conscience. He looked like shit. I didn’t even shoot him, I just shot the bullet. “Listen asshole,” I hissed, “I don’t think my aunt is gunna let you camp out at my place, and I’m not pressing charges because, I honestly still love you. I don’t even know that I want to leave you… but I do need time to think.”
“I understand.” Ricky smiled apologetically at me.
We left the hospital and got into my car. Shit! October and Raven! I had Oli drop off Ricky at the airport, he was mad at me because I still thought about giving him a chance. When we got to the hotel, I rushed in and opened the door to the room we were in. They were sitting on the beds, watching TV. I sighed a sigh of relief, “Thank god y’all are okay.”
“Where were you!?” Raven shouted.
“Long story short, Ricky stabbed my leg, see here,” I said turning my leg so they could see it, “I went to the hospital.”
I got them out of the room and we dropped our keys off at the front desk. They were more than excited to meet Oli. We went to this park and chatted about everything. I wasn’t sure what to do about Ricky, I still love him, a lot honestly, I just don’t know. I felt a tear fall from my cheek. I brushed it of my face and acted like it didn’t happen. I plugged in my headphones and Amity Affliction played. God I loved them, they were amazing.
“Ash, can I speak with you?” Oli asked.
“Of course,” We walked over away from them, “What’s up Oli?”
“97 Pounds?”
I looked down at my hands, “Sorry.” I mumbled.
“Ashley, babe, stop this, you’re eating though.”
“I’m purging though.”
“Stop this Ash, I love you too much for this! Please. Oh, and, only last thing. Ashley Manson, will you go out with me?”
“I have to think on it Oli…”
