Ghost In The Mirror

"Those sons of bitches!" Chris screamed, jumping out of the desk chair in my room to start pacing. "Ill kick their asses!" He claimed.

"Not without me!" Angelo added, standing to go by his friends side. I shook my head as more tears fell.

Josh and I had just explained what had been happening the last two months to everyone. They all forgive him for what he did since they said they would all do the same if they were in the same conditions. "That's a terrible idea." Josh stated, wiping stray tears from under his eyes. He hugged me closer to him and kissed my head. "It's only gonna piss them off. It'll give them more of a reason to call."

"We can still beat the shit out of them!" Angelo defended, standing his ground.

"What would you get out of that? She'll have to fucking leave! I didn't abandon you guys to put her on a plane to only God knows where!" Josh yelled, getting more frustrated by the minute.

"She has to leave anyways! They already know you're still seeing her! That scene at school proved it all!" Ryan butted in, dropping his two cents into the piggy bank of my life. I wish I could have a say in this. It is my life, afterall. I guess when I told them that this was bound to happen I lost my speaking privaleges.

"No she doesn't! We can still fix this!" Josh said, holding me tighter. "She can't go." He begged, a new batch of tears forming in his eyes. I hate seeing him cry. He looks so vulnerable and lost.

His sadness is all my fault. If I would've never came to this place everyone would still be happy. Josh would still be Josh. Ryan would still have his best friend. No one would be angry. They would all be perfect.

That's one of the reasons I decided to do this. Kissing Josh, in their eyes, is the stupidest thing I could've done. To me, I feel like I set them all free from having to worry about me. Josh especially. He wont have to loom over me to make sure Im safe or happy or ok. He'll be content with his life again.

"Josh, unless you can figure out a master plan Tarra has to go." Ariel said sadly. "I want her to stay, trust me, but she set her fate. We have to accept that."

"I'll figure something out then. I wont let her go!" He demanded. I heard someone knock on the door.

I excused myself from the room and went to go see who was at the door. I opened it to find Chrystal and Vanessa, the women who were assigned to my case.

"Hello Tarra." Vanessa grinned. "Long time no see." Behind them stood Brad and Sarah, smiling smuggly.

"Come in." I gulped. Vanessa and Chrystal walked through the door. Brad and Sarah tried but I slammed the door in their face. Im pretty sure I broke Sarah's nose judging from the pain scream she let out.

They went into the living room and took a seat. Josh walked through the hallway and into the living room. "Tarra, who are they?"

"My case wlrkers." I whispered.

Everyone else walked into the room. Mar realized what was going on before the rest of them, a hand flying over her mouth while shaking her head no sadly.

"Tarra, we need to explain some things." Vanessa stated, cutting me off from the sad stare I was holding with Mar.

I took a seat and a gave them my undiving attention. Jish sat by me, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. Everyone else sat around the room, giving them their full attention.

"Due to you running away, Chrystal and I have been told to enroll you ina boarding school. You're getting to be to old for foster care so putting you in a home would most likely only cause problems. This boarding school is in Britain where you will finish your schooling. You will graduate there. After, you may decided what you want to do with your life after that." Chrystal explained. I always did like her a bit more than Vanessa. I think it's because of her motherly attitude.

"Britain?" Josh questioned sadly. "Why Britain?"

"We looked at her transcript and her grades are immaculate. We wanted to give her a great learning oppertunity as well as being independent." Chrystal answered.

"There is no other option?" I asked.

"Im afraid not. We leave tomorrow. It should give you enough time to pack your things and say goodbye to your friends." Vanessa stated firmly. "Both of us will be staying with you this time to make sure you don't leave again."

I only nodded sadly and went into my room. I started packing all my essentials. I want to spend as mhuch time with my friends as I can. Who knows how long it'll be before I see them again.
