The End Of Time

Chapter Thirty-Eight
Brooklyn
*Two month time skip*
Everything around the house was very hectic to say the least. People were always coming in and out and distracting me and the twins were everywhere. My babies are two months old now and that allows me to start working with the band a little more.
"Chris I'm going to feed the twins so don't let anyone back here." I yelled out as I picked up Bentley from the playpen in the back office of the studio.
"Alright!" He yelled back. It felt great to be with the guys again and start writing although I was only here for four hours everyday. I missed begin around my boys. Although I hated not performing and seeing the fans that's what I lived for.
Of Mice & Men were in the studio to do a reissue of Restoring Force it was going to be called Restoring Force: Full Cirlce. The guys would be in the studio for maybe three hours and then when I got home they came over and worked in the home studio. It was much easier when they were there cause they helped me keep the twins occupied.
The twins were just cute and very calm. They only cried if they were tired or hungry or around to many people at a time but they liked all the attention they were given. Such spoiled children.
I looked down at Bentley as I watched him eat and smiled. He turned out to look so much like his daddy and Courtland looked a lot like me. Everyone thought it was funny that it happened that way the girls match and the boys match.
A knock on my door made me look up from my cute little baby boy and shake my head.
"Chris I told you.."
"What your husband can't come see you and our beautiful twins." Austin said coming inside with a dozen roses and food.
I smiled and moved Bentley some. "No you can't obviously, but you brought food so I'm all for it."
Austin placed the roses on the desk and the food next to it as he leaned down and kissed me. I watched him kiss Bentley's forehead and walk over to the playpen and pick up Courtland.
"You guys on break?" I asked as Bentley stopped eating and I grabbed the towel putting it on my shoulder to burp him.
Austin nodded, "Yeah and we can't agree on one of the songs right now so we decided to just take some time think and eat since we've been there forever. I decided to come eat lunch with you and see you guys."
"Well thank you now you take Bentley and I'll take Courtland." I said and we switched twins. We were pretty good at this routine now when they get older who even knows what will happen. The twins have such different personalities already I'm sure they will cause some trouble when they are older.
I switch sides letting Courtland start eating as I watch Austin with Bentley. He was an amazing father and husband. Always being there whenever I needed him or if the twins would make one little sound through the monitors at night he would get up and go check on them. Especially when we first brought them home and were trying to get settled.
*flashback*
I had just got the twins down and in their nursery as I went into Austin and I's room again. It was 3 in the morning and we both were exhausted. They haven't been sleeping as well as they did before maybe cause they weren't constantly near us but we both agreed that they should sleep without us unless absolutely necessary.
One to help us both so we didn't need to constantly need to be with the twins and so she we both started touring it would be .00000000001% easier to be way but we both knew it would be basically impossible not to miss them. And two so they weren't dependent on us when they grew older.
I looked at Austin who was asleep and smiled laying down next to him. We didn't get a lot of time alone but when we did have time alone we needed up napping together or eating or showering.
Sighing I laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes ready to just fall asleep. Right when I was about to finally be able to... there were the cries. Looking at Austin I knew him and the guys would be busy soon so I wanted to let him rest as much as he could. Getting up I rubbed my eyes and walked out of the room to the nursery. Picking up Courtland I walked around the room and proceeded to rock her hoping she wouldn't wake up Bentley.
Although that didn't last long cause then he woke up. I picked them both up and looked at them as they wouldn't stop crying. Thus in return I started crying.
"Please calm down for mommy. It's okay please stop crying." I pleaded with them. Just as I gave up hope Austin came into the room.
"Brooks go and sleep I have them." He said walking over to me taking Bentley from. y arms and adjusting him as he took Courtland.
I shook my head, "But what..."
Austin cut me off and walked behind me making me walk out of the nursey. "Brooklyn I know you want me to rest but you can't do this right now. You were in the hospital yourself and you should be resting just as the doctor said. Now move that beautiful sexy ass of yours into our room and sleep I'll be in soon." Aus said and kissed my forehead.
I sighed as he shit the nursery door and did as he said. Laying in bed made me relax and I fell asleep maybe 30 minutes later as Austin had still yet to come out. Just as I feel asleep I felt him get in bed and kiss my head.
"Goodnight beautiful."
*back to reality*
That night was very tough but we got through it. Austin was everything to me and the twins and I knew that everything out be okay. Or at least I hope?

I promise this book will be done by the end of April and I will be updating this boom and Its Not Over Till It's Over at the same time cause a lot of you have been asking me too.
