The End Of Time
One For Two
Chapter Eighty-Eight
Austin
I just got out of the cab in-front of the venue near The End Of Time's bus and I could
see they were still on there.
Walking over to the door I knocked waiting for one of them to answer.
"Coming!" I heard my favorite voice yell. Brooklyn opened the door and stopped
looking at me.
"Hey baby girl." I said smiling as she jumped down wrapping her arms around me.
I kissed her head and wrapped my arms tighter around her. "I missed you so much
Austin!"
Brooklyn pulled back and kissed me which I gladly accepted. "I missed you too
Brooklyn but how about we go inside there are fans arriving."
She nodded and grabbed my hand pulling me in as I grabbed my bag.
"Hey Austin!" Drew said looking up from his phone.
"Hey Drew how are you?" I asked as Brooklyn grabbed my bag from me going back
towards the bunks.
He shrugged looking back at his phone, "I'm doing well. Congratulations by the way."
I smiled, "Thank you."
Emily came running out of the back and jumped up wrapping her arms around me.
"Austin!"
"Emily!"
She giggled as I kissed her head, "How have you been sweetheart?"
Emily got down looking up at me. "I've been good just miss Matty and Brittany and
April."
I nodded, "Well I'll see what I can do about getting you to see them."
Emily smiled and sat next to Drew just as Brooklyn came back out.
"Okay Gabe is letting us borrow the car so Austin and I will go to the doctors now. I'll
see you guys later."
I grabbed Brooklyn's hand and followed her outside. "How was the flight?"
"Boring but it was okay glad to be with you." I said as I tried to grab the keys but she
slapped my hand walking to the drivers side.
Shaking my head I got in the car and watched Brooklyn. I missed her a lot and it was
nice to be seeing her especially when seeing her means a good thing.
*Time Skip*
We were sitting in a room at the doctors office. David, Brooklyn's father, had flown in
her doctor so Dr.Miller was taking care of everything.
A knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts as he came in the room. "Well you
are indeed pregnant and have been for about three months."
Brooklyn shook her head, "Really? I haven't noticed anything or any signs. Oh my gosh
I had a beer last week!"
Dr.Miller smiled softly, "Relax it's okay that you had a beer. There are cases of where
people never even know they are pregnant till the seventh month and they drink or
smoke."
She sighed and squeezed my hand. He asked her to pull her shirt up and push her pants
down on her hips some. Turning the light off he walked over to a machine turning it on.
"Okay well actually I'm surprised you never noticed you have a swollen abdomen and
it's growing out a little."
"I guess I don't really notice my stomach a lot you know? Being on the road hasn't really
given me time to pay so much attention."
He nodded and took some gel rubbing it on Brooklyn's stomach and then took a like
small little wand.
Moving it around he watched the screen and then all of a sudden little thumps filled the
room.
*Thump**Thump**Thump**Thump* "What is that noise?" I asked feeling concerned.
Dr.Miller smiled, "It's the baby's heartbeat. Huh?"
We both watched as he moved the thing around looking closer then it sounded like two.
"Well look at that!"
"What is it?" Brooklyn asked biting her lip.
Dr.Miller smiled looking at us, "Congratulations your having twins."
I shook my head, twins? Would we be able to handles twins?
"Really?" I asked sitting down on the chair.
Brooklyn wiped the gel off with the towel he gave her and got down. "Austin? Are you
okay?"
I looked up at her taking a deep breath. "Twins."
"Twins." Brooklyn whispered smiling some.
Smiling back I stood up and kissed her. "Would you like pictures?" Dr.Miller asked.
"Yes please." Brooklyn said.
I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her neck just as he handed us the pictures.
"Brooklyn I would like to see you again in about 3 weeks even if I have to come to you."
She nodded and thanked him again as we walked out back to the car.
When we arrived back at the bus no one was there so we went into the back lounge to
talk.
"So, twins." I said looking down at my wedding band.
Brooklyn nodded, "What are we going to do?"
I could tell she was scared and internally freaking out. I felt bad especially since she
would be carrying them around not me, she would deal with the food cravings, the
morning sickness, and everything.
"What are you thinking about Brooks?" I asked as I picked her up sitting her on my lap.
"What am I going to do about the rest of tour? Then I go to Europe, South America, and
Warped with you. What about the band now? Like if it was one baby sure we could
figure it out but two? One of us will have to be there and I don't want to give them up
these two little babies are ours but I don't want to give up my dream." Brooklyn said
and started crying.
I wrapped my arms around her kissing her head, "Shhh it's okay. Look will figure it our
okay? I want to make sure this works out but let's not worry right now until your 6
months. I think you look for a nice house right now and we will get that okay? Then we
will deal with what happens after the fact once we are both home."
She nodded and kissed my cheek. I picked her up carrying her to her bunk so she can
rest before the show tonight and I needed to rest as well.
Notes
Wow! Twins! So next chapter will be a skip of this tour and the Europe tour and it goes right into the last week of the South America tour into Warped by then she will be about 5 months. What do you think they will do? What happen to Emily in that time? Let me know what you think.
I think I'd rather have you finish "It's not over till it's over" (because you've already started writing a sequel and I really want to see how they'll manage with Brooklyn's memory loss) but I also love "The end of time" a lot.
So anyway I hope you'll keep writing at least one of these stories because you're a very good writer :)
