Chapter Eighty-Seven

Brooklyn

We were on the road after our show and I needed to tell the rest of the guys.

Sitting on the couch I watched as all the guys were playing FIFA and Aleah was in the

back talking to Tony. They've been going strong and I think they'll he'll propose.

"Boys!" I said sitting up more. Chris stopped and looked at me while Drew and Matthew

kept playing.

"Hold on I'll get them." Chris said standing up and turning he tv off. I laughed as they

groaned and looked at him.

"Hey what was that for?" Matthew said.

"Brooklyn needs our attention." Chris said sitting down next to me. I but my lip looking

at all of them.

"Okay so I have some pretty big news." I said. They nodded waiting for me to continue.

"Um, well you know how I've been sick?" I asked.

"Yeah we had to get you medicine." Drew said laughing some. I smiled and nodded.

"Well it turns out that um I'm pregnant." I said and held my breath waiting for their

reaction.

Chris was nodding his head, Drew had his mouth hanging open, and I couldn't really

read Matthew.

"Are you kidding?" Matthew asked standing up. He looked really upset and that's not

what I wanted.

"Well I took a test and it was positive. I didn't even think this could have been a

possibility."

He was shaking his head as he looked out the window at the world passing by. If I

would have known this would have upset them I wouldn't have told them.

"Brooks did you tell Austin?" Drew asked.

I nodded, "Yeah. He's coming saturday on our day off and were going to the doctors

them talk about it. I'm really sorry if this upsets any of you."

Matthew turned around looking at me, "This doesn't upset us. I'm sorry if I'm making

you think that I just me I don't want lose you. Your like my older sister and our band

like what's going to happen?"

I shook my head. Matthew and I have always been close, he was like my little brother

and I always helped him when he needed if so I knew why he was upset some.

"I want the baby and this career I mean Lights does it. I really think I can do it and

sometimes Austin doesn't tour when I do so he could watch the baby. That's what we

need to discuss but I can promise you we will keep this band together though maybe

from nine months to the baby's one year birthday we could write a lot." I said.

The guys looked at each other and nodded, "Yeah that would be smart and we could do

signings or like interviews." Chris said.

"So were okay?" I asked hopefully.

They smiled and I got up giving them a hug. "Have you told Emily?" Matthew asked.

"No I haven't thanks for the reminder." I said and walked back to the bunks. Looking at

the one on the bottom I found Emily reading.

"Hey Em can I come in?" I asked kneeling down. She looked up at me and nodded.

I slid in the bunk and looked at the book she was reading. "So how are you? I'm sorry

we haven't been together to often and you've been stuck with silly Gabe."

Emily giggled, "Its okay I know your busy. I've been good kinda miss Brittany and

Matty."

I smiled and nodded. Brittany and Matty just had their daughter April and she was a

doll.

"Yeah. Well I have something to tell you."

Emily looked at me and nodded.

Smiling I said, "Well as you know I wasn't feeling to good and Alan got me a test. Emily

I'm pregnant."

Her eyes widen, "Really?"

I nodded and she squealed wrapping her arms around me. "Wow! Thats really cool!"

"Yeah it is. I'm excited and Austin will be here saturday so maybe we can do

something."

She nodded and kissed her head getting out of her bunk. Now I was ready to fall asleep
