Chapter Eighty-Four

Brooklyn

*Time Skip: Two Weeks*

It has been two weeks since I last saw Austin. In those two weeks I have gotten sick.

The guys besides Aleah joke around saying I'm love sick, which is funny to an extent.

If I'm not laying in bed sleeping, I'm in the bathroom throwing up and during shows I

sometimes feel like I'm getting sick then run off stage.

The fans were worried, Gabe was worried, the band was worried, everyone was worried.

"Brooks?" I heard someone say coming into the bunk area. I was laying in my bunk with

blankets all covering me and didn't want to be bothered until the show.

"Hmm." Was my reply just as my curtain was pushed back.

Aleah was standing there with a bag. "Hey, how ya feelin babe?"

I shrugged and rolled over facing her, "Same old same old. What's in the bag?"

She looked hesitant. "Look don't get mad at me and no one else knows like I did this on

my own but something is in here that I really think you should take."

I got out of my bunk and grabbed the bag. Looking inside I gasped and gave it back to

her.

"Hell no! Are you kidding me right now there is no way that I am taking this because

there is no way I am."

Aleah sighed, "Brooks I get it but you and Austin have been married and that last night

you were together I mean we all know why you wanted us off the bus."

Still being stubborn I shook my head. I mean sure we didn't use the protection for him

but I'm on the pill.

Looking at the bag and back at her I nodded. "Fine. I'll take the test."

I grabbed the bag and walked into the bathroom taking it out of its box. Right at this

moment I was staring at the thing that could make or break me. It would make me have

to rethink everything especially my career.

I took the test out of its box and my hands were shaking. "Now or never Brooklyn." I

whispered.

Taking the test I put it on the counter on top of a towel and opened the door for Aleah to

come in.

"What do you think?" Aleah asked.

"I mean it's a possibility right? Just I'm not sure I want it to be yet."

She nodded and we waited. The longest damn 5 minutes of my life.

When my phone alarm went off we looked at each other. "I can't do it Aleah you look."

Aleah stood up and looked at the test.
