Chapter Fifteen

Austin

It's been about three weeks since we've been on tour and to say I'm over not seeing

Brooklyn is an understatement.

Brooklyn is on tour now and I call her or text her all the time, especially since Emily is

with her.

"Austin, man relax. Brooks is probably doing a signing and I'm sure Emily is with her or

one of the guys." Aaron said as Phil took my phone from me.

I sighed, "I know, I know but I just worry after everything that happened."

"I know it does but we haven't heard from her mom and the guy is jail." Alan said.

I nodded and got up getting ready to go to sound check.

"Let's fucking do this!" Alan yelled. We yelled and I followed the guys out of the bus.

-Brooklyn-

I was sitting with the brothers (Matthew and Chris) getting ready for an interview.

"Hey, I'm Nick and I'm from behind the band it's a YouTube channel that I created."

I stood up and shook his hand, "I'm Brooklyn. It's nice to meet you."

"I'm Chris and this is my younger brother Mathew."

Sitting back down I watched as he got set up and was ready to start.

Nick: "Hey everyone! Welcome to behind the band and today we have a special band

with us, The End Of Time. Can you please tell us your name and what your role in the

band is?"

Me: "Hey I'm Brooklyn Carlile and I play guitar, sing, and sing really loudly!"

Chris: "Hey I'm Chris Owens and I play guitar."

Matthew: "Hey I'm Matthew Owens and I play drums."

Nick: "Thank you guys, it's really great to have you. As many of you know they are on

tour currently with Falling In Reverse and A Day To Remember. How is that going?"

Matthew: "A lot of fun! Yesterday after our first show we partied with the Falling guys

and A Day guys came a little later."

I shook my head laughing, "We don't want to bring up last night but I can tell you all of

the guys got shit faced drunk. I'm surprised that their hangovers aren't as bad as I

thought they would be."

Chris and Matthew nodded and I could tell they were telling me it was as bad as I

thought.

Nick: "Well at least the party was good! So, from what we heard the new album comes

out next week. Can we get any inside on it?"

The guys looked at me and I shurgged.

Me: "It's pretty badass if I say so myself. Um, two songs have voice cracks in them

because I was pretty emotional on this album like it has some really deep meaning to

me. I think that this album has allowed us to get out bigger emotion then the last one."

Nick: "Well I can't wait to hear it!"

*Time Skip*

We just finished the interview and I had to go change then be back at side stage for

Falling In Reverse's set because they wanted me to sing a couple songs with them.

Running onto the bus I went back to my bunk and changed into black ripped jeans and

one of Austin's Slipknot shirts.

"Brooklyn make sure you check your phone it was going off while you were gone!" Gabe

yelled back.

I check on Emily and smiled seeing her do her work.

"How's it going?" I asked kissing her check.

"Pretty good almost done with this and then Gabe is bringing me a sandwich and then

later going to the set." Emily said looking up at me and back down at her paper.

"Okay, I'll see you soon sweetheart."

I picked up my phone and saw I had missed calls from Austin about 10 or so. Sighing I

called him back and put in my cherry throat lozenges walking out of the bus.

Austin: "Brooklyn?"

Me: "Hey Carlile! Sorry I didn't get back to you I just got done an interview."

I could hear him sighing, "It's okay just wanted to check up on you and Emily."

I smiled, "We're good. Emily is doing some work and I'm going to meet up with Ronnie

to go over some songs for their set. What's up with you?"

Austin: "Tell Ronnie I said hey. We just finished sound check and I'm with Jordan and

Oli."

Laughing, I heard the guys fighting over the phone.

"Hey Love! How's it going?" Oli said breathing heavy.

"It's going well Oli. How about you?" I asked and knocked on Falling's bus.

Ryan opened the door and I walked up giving him a hug.

"Hey Brooks! Austin's fighting us for the phone so just wanted to say hi." Jordan yelled

and I laughed as I heard Austin take the phone.

Austin: "Sorry about them. But I miss you and I wanted to know if you would be able to

FaceTime with Emily tonight before you go to bed?"

I sat down on the couch as Ronnie game in and held my hand up.

Me: "Yeah of course baby just text me and let me know when. I gotta go so I can talk to

Ronnie."

Austin: "Okay babe, I'll text you later. I love you."

I smiled and bit my lip looking down, "I love you too."

Hanging up I looked up and saw the guys making kissy faces. I flipped them off and got

up giving Ronnie a hug.

"Hey Brooks haven't seen you in forever!"

"I know right but now we are touring together!"

He laughed and we sat down as he showed me the set list

"I was thinking you would sing Alone and Bad Girls Club, what do you think?" Ronnie

asked.

I nodded, "Sounds good to me!"

He gave me his headphones and I put them in my phone listening to the songs.
