Chapter Sixty

Brooklyn

*One Week Later*

My band has been acting so weird the past week!

We all got to together to talk about when we wanted to tour again and also talking about

a new album, but they were like distance.

My dad was weird too! He wanted to go out together all the time.

Everyday since Emily came back my dad and I either went out for breakfast or lunch.

To top it all off Austin was kind of distance, like did I do something to all of them.

I was sitting with Emily outside because Austin left early this morning to talk to my dad.

It was around 4:30 pm when Emily decided to interrupt me from my song writing.

"Brooklyn we got to go!" Emily yell running downstairs.

"Where are we going?" I asked as she pulled my hand going back upstairs.

Emily opened the door to Austin and I's room and I stopped in my tracks.

On the bed laid a beautiful black dress with a heart cut out back and white heels.

"Put this on and then we need to go! Hurry!" Emily said and walked out.

I sighed and got ready, didn't need to make the 10 year-old upset.

I curled my hair a little and did a little makeup.

Walking out I met Emily downstairs and got in the car.

"So where am I going?" I asked looking over at her.

"To the beach!"

I sighed and started driving.

*Time Skip*

Pulling up to the beach Emily got out running away.

"Emily!" I yelled and watched her. So I decided to follow.

Walking towards a secluded area I stopped and smiled seeing Drew and Phil, they were

holding roses.

"Hello beautiful!" They both yelled.

"What are you guys up too?" I questioned as they handed me the roses.

Drew looked at Phil and nodded.

"Just follow the rose petals Brooks!" Drew said and pointed to the isle made of rose

petals along the beach.

Nodding I took of my heels and followed the path.

Once I got a little further I saw Tino and Matthew.

"Hey gorgeous!" Matthew said.

"Here are some roses to add to your collection!" Tino said and they both handed me

their roses.

I smiled and kissed their cheeks as I began to walk down the path.

Next I found Aaron and Chris.

"Brooks your working up a sweat!" Chris said laughing.

"You look lovely though." Aaron said and I smiled kissing his cheek.

I took their roses and kept walking.

Alan and Aleah were next and I smiled because they each held two roses.

"You are beautiful!" Aleah said and gave me a hug.

"Brooks you grow up so fast!" Alan said wiping a fake tear.

I smiled and accepted their roses.

Walking further down I saw my dad and Emiky.

My dad was crying a little and Emily had the biggest smile on her face.

"Daddy don't cry." I said and gave him a hug.

"You look so beautiful baby girl." He said and hugged me back kissing my head.

"You look like a princess Brooklyn!" Emily said and gave me a hug.

I smiled, "Thank you so much sweetheart!"

Accepting their roses I looked at my dad one last time.

"Austin is down there," He said pointing toward where the waves meet the sand. "Go to

him."

I nodded and walked down.

Taking a deep berth as I found him, I smiled so big. Austin looked amazing, he was

facing the ocean with wine glasses in one hand and wine in the other and of course

there was a big heart made out of roses that he was standing in.

"Hey Carlile!" I said walking to him.

Austin turned around and smiled looking at me, "Hey princess!"

I got to him and gave him a hug, "Now what is this all about?"

Austin popped the bottle and gave me a glass pouring some wine.

"Just admire the view for a minute." Austin said wrapping his arm around my waist.

I smiled and looked out at the ocean, it was beautiful the sun was getting ready to set.

“Baby…” he nervously laughed and looked into my eyes. “You are the most amazing

woman I’ve ever met.” He tucked a piece of hair behind me ear.

“You’re so beautiful and strong. I don’t know where I’d be without you sitting right here

in front of me. I love you more than words can describe.” He shook his head as my

breath caught in the back of my throat.

“There’s no one else I’d rather be with in the world than you… you are everything to me

Love. We do have our rough days and our disagreements, but what couple doesn’t?” He

smiled at me.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I knew what was coming.

“We get through them and at the end of the day we’re still crazily in love with each

other. We overcome all obstacles together, like being separated when we leave for tours.

Those are the kind of things that make our relationship stronger."

I looked into those soft brown eyes of his; filled with love.

Tears spilled out of my eyes as he brought his thumb up to my face to wipe them away.

“So tonight, I want to ask you one question…” he looked at me before getting on one

knee.

He pulled a box out of his jacket and opened it up in front of me, revealing a beautiful

ring.

“Will you marry me Brooklyn?"

I put my hand over my mouth as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"You are supposed to say yes!" I heard someone yell and turned around to see my band,

his band, Sleeping With Sirens, Katelynne , Copeland, the boys, Pierce The Veil,

Memphis May Fire, and Brittany.

"Are you going to say yes or what?" Alan yelled.

I looked back at Austin and smiled.

"Yes! Yes, Austin I will marry you!" I said.

Austin smiled and slipped the ring on my finger as he stood up and kissed me.

I kissed him back with all I could. Everyone was cheering.

"I love you Brooklyn." Austin whispered.

"I love you Austin." I whispered back and kissed him again.

-Austin-

Brooklyn said yes! That was all I could think about.

I smiled as she was with Brittany, Katelynne, Copeland, and Emily gushing over the

ring.

"Congrats man!" Vic said coming over.

"Thank you!" I said and gave him a hug.

Everyone was congratulation us and I was in heaven.

"I'm proud of you Austin!" I heard someone who sounded like my dad say.

Turning around I smiled seeing him.

"What are you doing here!" I said running over to give him a hug.

"David called me and told me what was happening so he flew me down. Your mother

would be so proud of you Austin just like I am."

Wiping my eyes I felt arms wrap around my waist.

"Austin?" Brooklyn said.

I looked down at her and smiled kissing her.

"I'm okay. Brooklyn this is my dad Robert, dad this is my fiancée Brooklyn. I'm sorry

you both didn't get to meet early."

My dad gave Brooklyn a hug, "Welcome to the family! I can tell how much you both love

each other."

Brooklyn smiled, "Thank you! Yes, I do love Austin so much sometimes I wonder why."

I laughed and wrapped my arms around her.

"You can stay with us if you want dad and you can meet Emily who is somewhere

around here." I said.

"Oh, I would hate to impose."

Brooklyn shook her head, "You wouldn't impose really."

We talked with my dad for a little before Brooklyn wanted to take a picture then a group

picture to tell our fans.

"Ginger come here!" Brooklyn yelled.

We all laughed when Matty, Alan, and Jesse came over.

"Oops my bad forgot there were more than one ginger here! But, Alan will you take a

picture of Austin and I?"

"If I must!" Alan said.

Brooklyn wrapped her arms around my waist and I wrapped an arm around her

smiling.

"Do one with your ring!" Katelynne yelled.

Brooklyn held out here hand, then we did one of us kissing and then a close one of

Brooklyn and I kissing with the ring covering our faces.

"Okay group picture!" Brooklyn yelled.

We found someone to take it and then we did a silly picture.

Brooklyn posted the group picture without telling anyone then meshed all of our

pictures together.

@brooklynrosa: Well it's official! I'm going to Mrs. Brooklyn Rosa Carlile soon!! So

excited and it was amazing to experience this with our family and friends! I love you

Austin Robert Carlile <3 @austincarlile

Then of course I had to post,

@austincarlile: I finally made the love of my life become my wife! Brooklyn Rosa

Thomas now Carlile. I am very happy that she will be my wife and I loved coming up

with my little scavenger hunt for her to find me and to share this with our family and

friends. I love you Brooklyn Rosa Carlile! <3

Notes
