The End Of Time
Bells? What Bells?
Chapter Fifty-Nine
Brooklyn
I was laying on the coaching scrolling through my news feed.
Aleah was supposed to call me, but I haven't heard from her. Austin was out with his
band so I was alone until Brittany brought Emily back.
I tapped on the camera and took a selfie, @brooklynrosa: Bored out of my mind right
now! Waiting for Carlile to come home and cuddle with me! <3
About 5 minutes later there was a knock on the door and I got up to open it.
"Brooklyn!"
"Emily!" I yelled as she ran to me and wrapped her arms around me.
"I missed you so much! Don't ever leave for so long again!" Emily said dramatically.
I smiled and kissed her head, "I promise I won't."
Emily went inside and I gave Brittany a hug.
"So what's new with you?" I asked sitting on the couch.
Brittany sighed, "So the other day I called Matty to ask him something."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Taking care of Emily while everything happened got me thinking like I want a child.
So, I called Matty and just told him what I thought about it."
I nodded and looked over at Emily who was watching tv.
"What did he say? Like was he opposed to it?"
"No, he just thought we should wait a little so that he doesn't have any tours and can be
there for the first year of the baby's life." Brittany said.
"That's good."
Brittany and I talked a little more before Emily asked if we could watch a movie, which I
was fine with.
Emily put in The Little Mermaid, and came up on the couch to lay next to me.
All of us girls decided to have a little girl time for now.
-Austin-
I took a deep breath and put my hand in my pocket feeling the box.
"I love your daughter so much. She has brought so much happiness into my world and
makes me smile all the time. As well as makes me aim to better. I wanted to ask you,
David, for your permission to marry Brooklyn."
"Austin. I see how you look at my daughter and how you reacted when everything
happened. You love Brooklyn. I trust that you will take care of her and be everything she
needs and I can tell she is everything you need so, yes. Yes, you have my blessing to
marry Brooklyn." David said and he was tearing up.
I smiled and gave him a hug, a manly hug that is.
Looking over at her band I saw Aleah crying.
"Aleah, are you okay?" I asked.
"It's just so beautiful and I'm so happy for you guys!" She said.
Everyone gave me a hug and said congratulations.
"So do you have a ring?" Tino asked.
I nodded and pulled the box out of my pocket.
Opening the box there was a platinum 1.00 carat three diamond engagement ring with
custom because I had her initals, B.R.C engraved.
"Damn, you must have been saving up for this!" Chris said.
"How much was this?" David asked.
I shurgged, "A pretty penny."
Smiling I put the box back in my pocket.
"When are you planning on asking her?" Aleah asked.
"Um, in a week and I wanted to do something special but I need all of your help."
Notes
Wedding bells are chiming!! Wonder how Austin's going to propose!! Leave some feed
back and keep reading!! Almost done with this book then a squeal and a new story c: One more chapter left, then thinking about squeal following this or a new story for it
I think I'd rather have you finish "It's not over till it's over" (because you've already started writing a sequel and I really want to see how they'll manage with Brooklyn's memory loss) but I also love "The end of time" a lot.
So anyway I hope you'll keep writing at least one of these stories because you're a very good writer :)
