The End Of Time
Walking With Austin
Chapter Five
Brooklyn
Singing with Pierce the Veil and Kellin was awesome, but I think meeting Of Mice &
Men was sick too.
I was backstage strumming on my guitar just trying to relax because hearing the
crowd scream our name was insane.
"Can't wait to watch you play!"
I turned and saw Austin watching me, "Thanks." I smiled.
Our music came on and everyone ran out one after the other and Aleah started
singing, I'd Rather Die Than Be Famous.
I took a deep breath and ran out up to my mic.
"Let's make this place blow up, fucking scream with me!"
Everyone was definitely pumped and jumping around.
*Time Skip*
We finished and I threw my last pick into the crowd and walked off stage.
The guys from Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil, and Of Mice & Men all gave me
a hug and congratulated us.
"You are an amazing screamer." Alan said grabbing my guitar from me.
"Thank you! Not as amazing as Austin though." I said biting my lip as I looked over
at him.
He was talking to Drew and they both looked back at me.
"Well boys I'm going back to the bus with Aleah."
They said bye and Aleah and I started walking back to the bus.
We were maybe halfway there when we got surrounded my fans, screaming asking
for pictures and autographs.
Of course we made them all stand in a line and signed stuff and took pictures.
After the last one we ran back to the bus.
"Wow that was insane!" Aleah yelled falling on the floor in the bus.
"Yeah, but that means we are getting somewhere in this business."
I took a shower and changed into sweats and a tank top walking back out of the
bus.
"Now if only all girls dressed like that."
I jumped and saw Austin trying not to laugh as he walked towards me.
I punched him in the arm, "Thanks for scaring me!"
He laughed, "So where you going?"
I shrugged, "Just for a walk."
"Mind if I come along?
I shook my head and we started walking.
After maybe 15 minutes he started talking.
"So what made you get into this music and screaming?"
"Umm probably the way I grew up. My dad was always into this music and he got
me hooked on it. My step-mom like The Beatles, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, all of that
stuff. I just got hooked. And I met the Pierce guys when I was young and we started
talking and everyone in my band so I guess it just happened. Now for the
screaming, I actually didn't get hooked onto that until I heard Mitch and I wanted to
try it so I did." I said
"Oh wow really?" Austin said.
"Yeah." I said shaking my head.
"Wait you said you had a step-mom. What happen to your real mom?"
I stopped walking and took a deep breath, trying not to cry and scream.
"Brooklyn? Are you okay?"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"I'm so sorry I asked!"
I smiled and shook my head, "It's not your fault. You didn't know."
Austin and I walked for another 30 minutes before we went back to my bus.
"Thank you for letting me walk with you!" He said smiling.
"No, thank you for coming with me." I smiled and opened the door.
"Wait!" I stopped and turned looking at him.
He held his hand out and his other hand had his phone.
I grabbed his phone and gave him mine.
"Goodnight Austin."
"Goodnight Brooklyn! See you tomorrow." He said kissing me cheek.
I blushed and went onto my bus.
"Have fun with Austin." Matthew said.
Everyone made kissy faces at me.
I flipped them off and went back into my bunk.
I checked my phone and saw I had a text from Austin.
Austin: Thank you again for letting me walk with you. Maybe soon you'll be able to
open up about your mom with me, just know I am always here for. Goodnight
Brooklyn, sweet dreams.
I smiled and thought to myself that maybe I could trust Austin and went into a
Notes
Well maybe Brooklyn will open up to Austin about her mom? Hope you are liking the story so far! Leave some feedback c:
I think I'd rather have you finish "It's not over till it's over" (because you've already started writing a sequel and I really want to see how they'll manage with Brooklyn's memory loss) but I also love "The end of time" a lot.
So anyway I hope you'll keep writing at least one of these stories because you're a very good writer :)
