Chapter Four

Brooklyn

I was standing side stage watching Pierce's set when Kellin came over.

"Hey Brooks! So I heard that you are going to be singing King For A Day with us!"

I smiled, "Yeah! I'm so excited, thank you so much Kel!"

He gave me a hug.

"Oh look it's Of Mice & Men! I'll be right back." I watched Kellin walk over and talk

to them.

I loved listening to their music, Austin was a sick screamer.

All of their songs have saved me life more time than I can count.

Pierce just finished Bestios and Vic started talking.

"Alright guys you know this last song cause well Kellin Quinn sings it with me. But,

we have a special guest. Have any of you listened to The End of Time?"

I was surprised to hear the response of the crowd, cause they were screaming as

loud as they always are for more known bands.

"Well I guess you all do. So all of us have been friends with them for a long time, but

we've been friends with the gorgeous lead singer/screamer Brooklyn forever

basically. Please help me bring out Kellin and Brooklyn to sing King For A Day

with us!"

Kellin and I walked out and we started doing what we wanted to do most in the

world we sang our hearts out to all the amazing fans.

We all stopped a couple times on the way to Pierce's stage to sign some

autographs.

"I'm excited! I can't wait to see who this girl is!" Alan said.

"Yeah, I wonder if she's single." Tino said giving Phil a high five.

I shook my head at them and we went to side stage.

"Who's that with Kellin?" I heard Aaron ask.

Looking over I literally lost my train of thought and my breathing stopped.

A girl about 5'4-5'5 was standing there talking to him.

She had gorgeous red hair and tattoos, it looked like there were more.

She also had piercings, but she was gorgeous!

Kellin had stop talking to her and walked over to us.

"Hey guys!"

"Sup Kel!" Alan said

"Nothing really getting ready to go on, what about you guys?"

"Came to find out who this mystery girl is that is performing with you guys." Tino

said looking around.

"Oh! Brooklyn? I was just talking to her, she's right over there!" Kellin turned and

pointed at the girl I was fawning over.

"Damn! She is hot!" Alan said.

All of the guys nodded checking her out and I started getting jealous.

But, I have no clue why. A girl like that is probably taken.

We heard Vic start talking and call Kellin and Brooklyn walk out.

Listening to Vic and Kellin was amazing but then a voice literally made me fall in

love.

"Wow, Brooklyn has a voice on her." Aaron said and we all nodded.

But then she screamed with them and it was over.

I fell in love with her and that voice.

"Austin, she could probably rival your voice!" Alan said looking at her and back at

me.

"Probably!" I said focusing on her.

Once they finished the song and they all came back.

I looked at Brooklyn and saw her smile, I wanted to get to know her more.

We all looked at each other and walked our behind the stage, waiting for the

guys and girl to come back.

The Pierce guys, Kellin, and Brooklyn came out and were laughing.

We walked over to them.

"Hey guys great show!" Alan said, checking Brooklyn out.

"Thanks! This is our great friend, basically our little sister Brooklyn!" Mike said

pushing her forward some.

She smiled, "Hello."

"Hey you have an amazing voice! As well as an amazing screaming voice!" I smiled

and said before any of the guys did.

She blushed and looked down, "Thank you Austin."

I knew that right then and there I wanted to get to know her even better.

And I wanted her to be mine.
