Chapter Forty-Eight

Brooklyn

I woke up and originally I thought I was back on the bus, that Matthew came and found

me but then I remember that creepy guy took me.

"I see you are awake."

Turning over I looked up and saw him walking into the room.

"Where am I?" I asked sitting up.

He came over and sat on the bed near me, but I moved away.

"Sweetheart I would be as nice as possible to me cause I decide your fate. Now you be a

good girl and listen or I could keep you locked up in here."

I nodded, "What do you want from me?"

He put his hand on my face.

"You are so pretty." He breathed and moved his hand up into my hair.

I took a deep breath and sat as still as possible.

I just wanted Austin. Please let Austin find me.

"Would you like something to drink?" He asked standing up.

I shook my head, "Do you think we could talk? So I could learn more about you?"

He looked thoughtful but then shook his head, "We can talk later but I have to leave. I'll

be back in an hour."

He kissed my head, which I mentally cringed, and then walked out.

I stood up and walked around the room.

Trying to remember if I brought my phone out of the bus with me, but I'm not sure.

I gave myself a pat down and found it in my bra, thank you!

Pulling it out I tried to call Austin, but there was no cell service.

"Fuck!"

Now what was I supposed to do?

What about Austin? The guys and Aleah? Brittany? Emily?

I hope they are all okay.

-Austin-

It has been a full day since Brooklyn was gone.

Her dad, David, just flew in and was talking to the police.

I think I overheard something about checking security cameras?

I'm not sure I could barely function.

"Austin, man this isn't good for your heart! You need to get up and take a walk."

Alan said and I knew he was right.

I sat up and looked at him, "I told her that he wouldn't touch her, but he did. He took

her."

Alan nodded and sat next to me giving a water bottle.

"Aus, I understand that you are upset with yourself but Brooklyn would kill us all if you

weren't keeping yourself healthy."

"Yeah, she would kick my ass."

Alan chuckled, "Brooklyn would kick your ass, my ass, everyone's ass for how we are all

acting. But she is strong and she will make it out of this. You have to stay strong and we

all have to keep up an act for Emily's sake."

I nodded, "Where is she?"

Alan pointed to the back lounge and I got up walking back there.

Emily was listening to Brittany, who was telling her the story about how her and Matty

got together.

I sighed, at least she was being taken care of for now.

My priority was to make sure that Brooklyn comes home safe.
