Chapter Thirty-One

Austin

I was on my phone a lot throughout the morning making sure Pierce the Veil knew that

I was hiring a body guard for Brooklyn.

As well as texting David to make sure that when we leave we have someone with us and

that the security system was getting set up.

"Carlile! Seriously stop being on your phone and cuddle with me before we have to

leave." I heard Brooklyn say and saw her laying on the couch pouting.

"Maybe I should get you a puppy!" I said putting my phone down and walking over to

her.

Brooklyn pulled me down on the couch still pouting, "Well maybe I will need one when

my boyfriend doesn't even talk to me."

I laughed, "I'll get right on that puppy baby girl."

She smiled and laid her head on my chest, pulling her phone out.

Brooklyn opened up to her instagram and I kissed her head while she took the picture.

@Brooklynd: he finally came over to cuddle with me, isn't he the cutest @austincarlile

"Now who is on there phone!" I said and she shook her head.

"Mine was for a good reason it was to post about how cute we are together."

Brooklyn and I cuddle for another 20 minutes and then we had to leave so she can go to

her signing.

We got to the mall and I walked to Hot Topic with Brooklyn, hoping that this signing

would be uneventful.

I sat next to Aleah as we heard all the screaming fans and could see them outside of the

door.

"How was your morning?" Aleah asked.

I smiled, "It was great. Took a bath with Austin, went downstairs and saw my dad.

Which reminds me do you know what's going on? My dad and Austin have been

nonstop on their phones"

I pointed back to Austin showing her that he was on his phone.

"I don't know what's going on, but that is odd. Have you asked him about it?"

I shook my head and said hi to the guys watching them sit down.

"Hello guys!" Gabe said walking over to us.

"Hey Gabe!" We all said and I looked behind him to see the fans literally not even

worrying about the line, they were all just screaming in a huge crowd in front of the

door.

"Okay doors open in 5. There is extra pens and sharpies, a poster in front of you to sign.

You may accept gifts just stick them behind you and one photo per person. Also we are

bringing in the make-a-wish fan after everyone leaves." He said.

"Okay that works!" I said and they guys nodded.

The doors opened and everyone had to get in a line.

I was the last person at the end of the table.

After like an hour of signing I saw this one girl who looked really sad, but I could tell

she was hiding it.

"Hi sweetheart, what's your name?" I said, looking at the young girl.

"I'm Emily." She said barely above a whisper.

"It's very nice to meet you. How old are you?" I asked signing the poster.

"I'm 10."

"Are you here with your parents?"

Emily shook her head no.

I shook my head confused. Why would a 10 year old be here alone?

"Okay. Do you want a picture or something else signed?" I asked.

Emily nodded and handed me our cd.

I smiled and signed it as I look behind her and made a motion for Austin to come over.

"Yeah Brooklyn?" Austin said walking over.

I looked at Emily, "This is my boyfriend Austin."

"I know. I love both of your guys music and you are cute together."

"Thank you! Now do you think you could stay with Austin until the end of this? I would

love to speak to you after."

Emily didn't look so sure, but she nodded.

I watched her walk away with Austin and continued on with the signing.

Although I knew with everything going on in my life with the stalker, I had to make sure

this girl was okay. She just seemed off and I wanted to know what was wrong.
