Country House

With both of their parents out of the picture, Alan Ashby and his little brother, Aaron, end up living with their long-time family friends, the Carliles, in their house out in the country. It's a perfect solution to their being evicted from their suburban home, save for that Austin Carlile hates Alan for something that happened six years ago. Why did it affect him so much? Why is he still upset? What really happened to Alan's mom? Will Austin and Alan ever get along? Will I ever learn to write a halfway decent summary for a fanfiction?
