Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right

I bounced away from the bus and toward the van that was parked nearby. Austin had still been sleeping when I left, but i didn’t want to wake him up just cause I had to go set up the tent. I left him a note and told him to come find me when he was up and ready.

I slid the door to the van open to find Vic and Chloe sleeping. They were all cuddled up together and I couldn’t help but take a picture. Once I had snapped one I immediately opened twitter and posted it with the caption [i]’the cutest couple I have ever seen.’[/i]

I decided to let them sleep longer too. I was in a great mood and was feeling very energetic. I began to get all the stuff out of the back and I headed to where I was told our spot was. I put the tent down and began to unpack it. It was barely 9AM and the sun was already high in the sky. We were in Denver and it was so pretty here.

When the tent was finally up I was really hot and sweaty. This was the only thing I hated about being on this tour. I couldn’t take showers as frequently as I would like. I began walking back to the car and saw that Chloe and Vic were still sleeping, I grabbed our wagon out of the back and loaded totes and the table onto it. I began wheeling it back to the tent. My goal was to have everything set up before Chloe woke up. At this rate it would be.

I set up the table, unlocked my phone, and turned music on. I began singing along with Sleeping with Sirens song ‘You’re Nickel Ain’t Worth My Dime’. I pinned a couple new shirts we had got in onto the board and set it up. I was in my own little world as I moved on to do inventory.

“You know if this clothing company doesn’t work out you should pursue a singing career.” I heard someone say scaring the shit out of me. I yelped and spun around.

Perched on the table was none other than Kellin Quinn. I waded up a shirt and chucked it at him.

“Didn’t your mom ever tell you not to sneak up on anyone?” I huffed as my heart rate returned to normal. He chuckled and tossed the shirt back to me.

“I am sorry for scaring you. And I am serious by the way. You have a really good voice.” He says walking toward me.

“So I have heard.” I tell him marking down the count of our grey dress on the paper.

“You should sing with us today.” He squeals getting excited.

“I’ll pass.” I decline and he begins to pout.

“But, but, but… AUUUUTTTUMMMNNNN.” He whines. I look at him and he gives me his puppy dog eyes and I buckle.

“Fine! One song.” I groan. He bounces over and hugs me tight.

“Our set is at 4PM.” He says.

“Oi, Quinn hands off my girl.” I hear Austin shout. We both turn and I pull out of Kellin’s grasp and bound over to Austin. I hop on him and he wraps his arms around my waist.

“Your girl? When did this happen? And why am I the last to find out?” Kellin asks pouting.

“Yes his girl. And it happened last night. You are from the last person to know either.” I tell him as I peck Austin’s lips.

“Well he better be coming to show support for his girl then.” Kellin states matter-of-factly.

Austin looks back and forth between us with a confused look on his face. I couldn’t help but giggle. This man was so adorable.

“I am singing with Kellin today. Speaking of what song am I singing with you?” I tell Austin before turning to Kellin.

“I was thinking ‘With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear’.” He says looking at me for my approval.

“Perfect.” I reply.

“How come he gets to have you sing with him and not me?” Austin whines.

“First come first serve Mr. Carlile. I am a very hot commodity. You have to be quicker if you want to book me.” I joke sticking my tongue out at him.

“But I was first out of everyone here to get you.” He winks. Kellin gags and says his goodbyes. Saying he would see me at 4.

Austin sat down as I continued to take inventory. I think I could make this whole dating, touring, and working thing work out in my favor. I was really nervous about preforming on stage with Kellin. It was going to be the first time on my stage singing in front of people since high school. I hope that Chloe and Austin can make it. I definitely wanted them there for support.
