Space enough to grow

When we got off the plane it was one in the morning so we caught a taxi to the hotel and as soon as we got into the room I was in awe of how beautiful everything was, I honestly felt like I couldn't touch anything just incase I broke something. "So which room do you want? The master or?" Ben mumbled sleepily "what? Sorry um well your paying for everything so I guess you should get the master, I'm fine with the other room" I smiled attempting to break the tension, I could feel he was still hurt by the idea of us not seeing each other all the time plus he was super tired so that didn't help. "Fine I'll take the master, do you want help with that?" He offered sincerely "no you're about to pass out go to sleep I'll be fine" I continued smiling whilst dragging my luggage to my room "okay but if you need me please wake me up I don't want you hurting yourself alright?" "That happened one time ages ago come on!" I said trying not to laugh Ben just chuckled and walked into his room and fell asleep in mid air before he hit the bed.

I went into my room and It was so huge I honestly thought this was the master, I put my suitcase next to the wardrobe and went to sit on my bed and it honestly felt like I was sitting on a cloud it was so comfy. I looked at my phone and it was 12:00 in Australia so I decided to call Sammi, "hello?" "Hi Sammi bear!" "HEY! What time is it over there?" "It's one in the morning but I'm not tired yet so I thought I'd call you" " oh aren't I lucky, so how was the flight?" " it was really awkward, I kinda told Ben everything I've bottled up since I found out about Em and he basically told me he's tried to get over me but I'm in his face all the time so I said maybe we shouldn't hang out anymore and he got sad and I tried to make him see it is the right thing and he said yes but he's really hurting and I feel horrible!" "Baby girl I am so proud of you! You finally stood up and did the right thing for both of you and don't think that I'm going to let you go through this alone okay I'm going to stick to you like glue! Hey that rhymed!" "Hehehe it did too, thank you, I honestly have no idea what is do if I didn't have you" "well it's a good thing you'll never have to! But babe you really should sleep fight jet lag did you take anything with you?" "Yes I did I'll talk to you when ever I get around to it love you" "love you too baby girl bye" he hung up and I put down my phone. I walked over to my suitcase and opened it up, I pulled out the pills I brought to help me sleep and took a couple, I put them back turned the lamp on and the light of laid in bed and played games on my phone till I fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to Ben singing Aerosmith's 'dude look like a lady' I walked out of my bedroom to find him dancing around the lounge area "excuse me! Could you please put that dying cat out of its misery?" I said keeping a straight face when inside I'm pissing myself laughing "well that was rude! I think I need to teach you some manners" he said running at me, he grabbed me and held me down on one of the couches and tickled me "HOLY SHIT STOP STOP STOP PLEASE IM SORRY IM SORRY PLEASE" I screamed through laughter "well I think you've learnt your lesson, are you hungry cause I ordered you fruit salad cause I know that's your favourite at the moment" "thanks" I smiled even though inside my head was screaming at me "your fat enough! Stop eating!" But I tried not to listen. After breakfast we just sat listening to music "the gig isn't till later on tonight so I was thinking maybe we could do something fun or something?" Ben asked "okay what where you thinking?" "Well you know I love beaches and I haven't been to one in Florida before so could we go?" "Sure why not! Let me get changed and we can head out" I said excited to see an American beach I've never been out side of the country be for so this was so cool!

I put on my swimmers and stupidly looked in the mirror, all I could see was how huge I was and the scars on my legs, I couldn't handle the way I looked so I broke down, Ben heard me crying and came in "baby are you okay? What's wrong honey?" He asked softly stroking my hair an rubbing circles on my back "I'm ugly and fat and discussing look at me I have scars and flab I'm repulsive" I sobbed into his chest "no baby girl you're not, you are beautiful and stunning and the scars on your legs don't define who you are bubba okay?" He cooed sweetly "o o okay" I stuttered, he got up and left me on the bed sitting with my legs crossed wiping away the tears and he came back with one of his business shirts "why do you have that?" "For you it fits me perfectly so it'll be like a dress on you, to cover your legs" he said making sure I felt safe "thank you" I said hugging him "no nee to thank me that's what friends are for! So are you ready?" He asked smiling, I put on the shirt "sure am!".

We left the hotel and court at taxi to the nearest beach, we got out and I soaked up the beautiful sea air and Ben did the same "this is so beautiful" I said enjoying the sun and the breeze "sure is! Race you to the shore!" Ben yelled as he ran to the shore, I ran till I saw Ben splashing in the ocean "hey that's not fair! I'm short!" I yelled pouting "that's not my fault lovey" he smirked "you bitch" I ran at him and push him further into the ocean until he fell but he took me with him "you know if I fall I'll always take you with me" he yelled over the waves
