Austin's P.O.V.

I walked into the school holding Alan's hand, proudly. He looked a little nervous, I should be the nervous one. But actually, I perfectly fine right now. Phil was at his usual spot, okay...now I'm nervous. I didn't feel like making an announcement or personally tell anyone about it, so I decided to show it instead.

We got to Alan's locker & I wrapped my arms around his waist, kissing him against his locker. The hallway suddenly got quiet. Not one word was said, all you could hear was gasps & whispers. I continued to kiss him. Alan's hands were on my neck. I didn't feel nervous, scared, embarrassed or ashamed. I liked kissing Alan somewhere in public.

"Ooh, get it Austin!" Some guy yelled behind us. Alan & I laughed & continued to kiss.

"Dang! Get a room, big boy!" I heard Phil say, now next to us. Alan & I pulled away, Alan's face was completely red. I was smiling like an idiot.

"Phil, you know my boyfriend Alan." I spoke.

"Ah, boyfriend? How did this happen?" Phil asked.

"The first day I met him he kissed me & it took off from there. I've just been an idiot this whole time." I answered.

"Haha, that's great. You two make a good pair. Alan, what happened to your eye?" Phil asked. Poor Alan's eye was still puffy. Pink now, but puffy.

"I um....got jumped. " Alan answered.

"What the fuck! That's insane! Who was it, I'll fuck them up!" Phil yelled.

"I don't know who it was...I'm okay though..." Alan replied.

"Don't worry Phil, I'm taking care of him." I spoke.

"I just can't believe my best friend didn't tell me about this." Phil said looking away from me & crossing his arms.

"Dude! You know I'd tell you if I wasn't so scared!" I replied.

"Scared?! Of what?!" Phil asked.

"I just....I didn't want you to stop being my friend..." I answered honestly.

"That's stupid.....you know I love you, man. I wouldn't ever judge you for anything. Y'know, unless you killed someone." Phil answered. We all laughed & Phil gave me a hug.

"I'm proud of you, bro. Coming out like that takes balls." Phil said. The bell rang & on our way to class two girls said Alan & I made a cute couple. It honestly made me happy for the rest of the day.
