Later on that night @ Natalie's mom's house
Natalies's POV

Austin opens the care door for me as I try to fix my outfit. He grabs my hand and helps me out of the car. We both walk up to my parent's doorway hand in hand as if a couple. It's somewhat hot outside for some reason. I ring the doorbell with a shaking index finger. Maybe I'm nervous. Yet again, I don't know why. A reason doesn't come to mind. Then, my mother appears at the door and opens in very fast. She pulled me in for a hug with a huge smile on her face.

"Honey! Oh my...How are you?" She sounded like she would cry any moment.
"Hey, mommy. I'm fine. How are you?" I said with a fake smile a girl could put.
"I'm fine," she lets me go and hugs Austin.
"Austin! My, my, my. You look so handsome."
Austin blushed deeply and looks down at his outfit. "Oh, thank you, Mrs. Lucker. You look beautiful as always."
Austin smiled and kissed my mother's hand and adjusted his outfit.
"Well," she said standing looking at the two of us, "Come on in."
"Where's dad?"
"He's in the dinning room table. I think he's done setting up and everything."
I let go of Austin's hand and head into the dining room to find my dad just doing the finishing touches on the table. He looks up at me and walks over to hug me.
"Hey, Nat."
"Hey, daddy. How're you?"
"Oh, everything is fine. Just those in and out thoughts of your brother but, you know how that is."
My heart sank to my ass and I held in the tears that were starting to burn my eyes. Just then, Austin and my mother walks in. I suck in my tears and smile.

We all sat down and started to eat. Polite conversation was made here and there but, we couldn't stay long enough for dessert. Austin and I made our goodbyes and heading into the car.
