A Sequel to an Alan Ashby Fanfiction

Chapter Nine

Alan’s Point Of View

I was roughly woken up by lots of movement. I lifted up my head and opened my eyes, in search of what had awoken me.
Victoria.
She was staring at me with a frantic look on her face but after about three seconds, her face relaxed and she sighed, putting her head in her hands.
“Vic?” I asked slowly and calmly. She didn’t respond, just kept her head placed in her hands.
“You okay?” I asked once again. Her face emerged from her hands with a kind of shocked(?) expression.
“Err, fine! Just, ah, I remembered I need to do my, uh…” She started to explain, her voice trailed off as she tried to think of a reason as to why she was so jumpy.
“Paperwork!” she said in a high pitched voice as she turned her back to me and started rifling through the mess of paperwork on her bed.
“Yep!” she said, popping the ‘p’. “Lots of paperwork!” She gathered it all into a big pile and picked it up and turned back towards me.
“I’ll go to the lounge area and sort it all out!” She had a huge smile on her face as she ran out of the room.
Only to run back in about 10 seconds later, no paperwork in her arms.
“Laptop.” She explained as she grabbed her laptop and charger and ran out of the room once again.
I rubbed my eyes and fell back onto my pillow. Trying to figure out what that was all about. Did she regret last night? We didn’t even do anything for her to regret, her bed was cluttered so she slept in mine. Or maybe… she doesn’t want anything to happen between us. Maybe that’s why she freaked out, maybe she thought I was going to try something. Or something. I don’t know.
I hope she still has feelings for me because I still have feelings for her. Victoria is perfect and I love every part of her.
I just hope she still has feelings for me.
Before I could fall back to sleep, there was a knock on the door and the sound of it opening. Victoria?
“Oh Amanda. Hey.” I said as I sat up instantly in my bed, I knew why she was here. I had asked her and the other girls to try and find out what was going on in Victoria’s head about me, about us a few weeks before the tour started. To be honest I had doubts because I could see that the girls were acting cold and unfriendly towards Vic but they sorted it all out and quickly became friends. Amanda closed the door and sat on Victoria’s now uncluttered bed.
“So, spoke to Victoria last night with the other girls. And you came up.” Amanda started her sentence looking at the ground but finished it with giving me eye contact.
“And…?” I asked her, imploring her to finish.
“And we think she still has feelings for you, but we just think that she is confused with what she wants.”
“So what does that mean?” I asked her quickly. She still liked me! Yes!
“It means give her time, don’t push her. If you don’t push her she will eventually make her way to you.” Amanda told me.
“But how long could that take?” I asked.
“Days. Weeks. Months. I assume these situations would be unpredictable.” Amanda got up to leave, “Just give her time.” She smiled as she walked out of the room and closed the door behind her.
I fell back onto my pillow, she still liked me. I will wait for Victoria.
