Chapter 62
-Scarlett’s POV-
Austin seems so tense and I don’t know why. I’m thinking he’s stressed about the future of the band, which isn’t good for his heart. So I kind of put together a vacation idea, with some possibilities of where we could go.
Him and I are serious now and I feel that we can go on vacation without any questions, even though his fans still don’t like me, but I don’t care.
He’s currently out with Tally.
I’ve cleaned my apartment and am exhausted. Amanda wants to go to Starbucks, so I guess I’ll be going there with her.
-Austin’s POV-
Tally is either stupid or not fully awake today. He hasn’t noticed the fact that I can’t sit still, or my eyes looking more tired then usual.
I don’t know why I want to get caught. Like it’s a rush that I’m doing this and no one is figuring it out. I want to see how far I can push it, but I know if Scarlett finds out she’s going to be so angry with me.
“I’ll see your ass soon Carlile!” Tally said.
“Damn right!”
Tally and I said our goodbyes as I got into my car. I was itching for more of the poison I crave, but I couldn’t do it. I wasn’t stupid enough to do it while I drove so I just had to wait till I got back to my apartment.
I got into my apartment and ran quickly to my stash. I had taken another pill from Scar’s, because I liked how that felt. I’m so fucked up.
I inhaled it. Everything felt better.
Scarlett and I ordered pizza and she came over for the night. We should probably move in together, but both of us are so attached to our current apartments. I feel good at the moment, but I’m afraid Scar will figure it out.
“Baaabbeee” Scar said looking at me with those eyes.
I picked her up and placed her on the counter in front of me then stood in between her legs.
“Hmm baby”
“I was thinking…” she was hesitant.
“Go on”
“Could we go on vacation?”
“I don’t know babe” She would figure it out.
“But we’ve never gone anywhere, and I think we both deserve it!” Damn it she’s making this hard.
“I’m sick of traveling baby.” She would know that’s a lie.
“No you’re not. Austin you’ve been off what’s wrong?” she asked, shit I knew I’d have no choice but to lie.
“I just don’t want to travel babe.” I said and walked away from her.
“UGhhhhh…when you decide to quit being a secretive asshole let me know!” she said as she grabbed her purse and shoes.
She left and I didn’t stop her. I couldn’t tell her what was wrong.
