The Calm

-Austin’s POV-

It’s been two days since I asked Scar to be mine. She’s been busy with work and distant. I hope that she isn’t acting this way because we are dating. Alan’s a little pissed about it, but out of all people he should have known. Tony threated to murder me if I hurt her. Well actually all of Pierce the Veil did. Of course she had to be friends with girls who were dating the Mexicans. I invited Scar to come to my place to watch a movie and pig out on junk food because I know she’s stressed. Unfortunately she hasn’t answer any of my texts today. So I texted Erin…

A: Erin. It’s Austin. Know whats up with Scarlett today?

E: She’s busy

A: I got that much, she’s been like this for two days towards me

E: what do you mean?

A: She’s distant.

E: She has too much going on so she’s pushing people out and devoting herself to work. It isn’t you.

A: I wanted to have a chill night with her she wont answer.

E: I’ll call her

A: Thanks

Scarlett has never been too busy to answer me. Maybe she is that busy, but still.

-Scarlett’s POV-

Damn it, Austin has everyone worried about me. I just can’t handle the voices in my head. They are telling me that I should find more blades, since Austin got rid of them. I’ve been okay, but there’s just so much going on. My clients are bitches and as much as I love this job, I want to leave. I just want to escape somewhere with Austin. I’ve been shitty to him for the past two days. We are dating and I’m happy, he’s such a gentleman…it’s just now I’m the problem. Oh and Alan texted me a very sarcastic “Have fun dating Austin. Hope he lives up to your expectations since I didn’t.” Alan always had to be an asshole about everything.

Austin wants to hang out later and eat junk food since he knows I’m stressed, but I can’t. Fuck Erin’s calling me now.
S: Hello?

E: Hi Miss I’m ignoring everyone.

S: Sorry

E: Babe, Austin texted me you really should hang with him tonight you have this amazing guy and you’re just going to blow him off?

I can’t Erin, these demons won’t get out of my head. Austin will think I’m mental. I thought before answering her back.

S: I know I just have things to do and I cant I don’t want to tell him yet though

E: Things? Come on Scar. Drop your quote things and go cuddle with Austin Fucking Carlile!

Maybe it would get rid of the demons…a night with Austin might help.

S: Fine. I have to call him now. So bye.

And I hung up, than called Austin.

A: Baby! Sorry I called Erin on you.

S: It’s fine…so about tonight?

A: Yes about it

S: You’re going to have to have some serious junk food and alcohol in order for me to come

A: I can arrange that, what would you like to request beautiful?

S: Cheese pizza, beer, tequila, doritos, hmmmm…chocolate cake…

A: Okay, arrive at my house after you’re done with work, which will be?

S: Like 9…I’m going to starve you aren’t I…you seriously don’t have to do this.

A: I am doing this, so see you then baby.

S: Argh, bye babe

Ah Austin Robert Carlile made my heart flutter. Damn him. He’s also really going to like this work outfit… (Outfit Link)
After quickly grabbing clothes at my condo I headed over to Austin’s.

I knocked on the door of his house and prepared myself for my outfit comments. Austin loved how I dressed nicely, but not the fact that I work high heels all day.

He opened the door and was only wearing pants and a beanie on his head.

“Stare much, Scar?” he asked and laughed.

“Well if you would wear a shirt…” I said and laughed with him.

“Come in honey” he said, smiled and pulled me in by the hand.

“I brought clothes to change into for once” I said.

“Good, but I still want you in one of my shirts, even though you look stunning today in your current outfit.” He said with a wink and I blushed.

My heels clicked on his floor as I followed him up to his room. I sat on his bed to take my damn heels off. I set my bag down on the bed as well and opened it to take out my comfy clothes. (Outfit link) I had a sports bra, fresh undies, fuzzy socks, a shirt, and yoga shorts. Austin tossed me one of his shirts though. He walked out to get the movie and food set while I changed.

When I was changed and tossed my hair up, I headed back downstairs. Austin was sitting on the couch already eating pizza.

“See you shouldn’t have waited for me” I said.

“I didn’t you were upstairs changing and taking forever.” He said and grinned with pizza in his mouth.

“Smart ass” I said as I tried to get food, he tackled me back on the couch.

“What was that?” he said and started tickling my sides, which immediately caused me into a laughing fit.

“Stop! Please Aus! I’m sorry!” I said laughing.

“See I wanted you to laugh beautiful.” He stopped tickling me and leaned in to kiss me.

I pulled him down to me more, and wrapped both my arms around his neck. I absolutely loved kissing him. He was so gentle and sweet. We were making out, with him on top of me…it was kind of really hot. Even though we’ve known each other I knew Austin wouldn’t press this any further. I had a feeling that he was serious about me, and after that night we were half naked when Alan walked in…yeah.

-Austin’s POV-

I’m on top of Scarlett making out with her, and as much as I want to take this further, I can’t. This girl means to me then a causal fuck. Finally I pull away just enough to kiss her on the nose. Then I get off of her, to get her pizza.

“Pizza my dear” I said as I handed it to her.

“Finally!” she said and laughed.

Damn she was adorable, in my shirt right now especially. I liked her all dressed up then like this. She shouldn’t have worn yoga shorts though; those are making my stupid male brain have really bad thoughts.

Shaking that from my brain, I looked over at her shoving a second piece of pizza in her mouth and I laughed. I grabbed another piece myself and headed to get the chilled beer out of the fridge.

“Seriously, you’re the best Aus” she said as I handed her a beer.

“Am not, but thanks” I said.

“I can’t eat anymore!” she said and fell back into the couch.

“But Scar I bought you like everything!” I said and hovered over her.

“Oh it won’t go to waste, I’ll be hungry in like an hour” she said and laughed.

I pulled her up so that she was sitting in my lap. She put her arms around my neck and kissed me.
