when you can't fall asleep at night

I had spent my whole day with Faith telling her what happen. She was suprised but accept it. After breakfast we watched a movie then went shopping for some things. I didn't care she was younger than me and she didn't care I was older. She was still one of my best friends. She drove me home,I gave her a hug and promised I would keep in touch. I walked in the house and saw a girl sitting with Austin. She seemed happy to see me.

"Brianna,I missed you" she said running up to me and engaged me with a hug. I was confused,who is this chick and why is she hugging me? "Um...who are you?" I asked as she pulled away. Her face expression changed almost immediately. "You don't remember me" she asked. I shook my head. She looked at Austin who was walking up to us. "Hey lets talk" he said giving me a kiss. I smiled and nodded.

We walked over to the couch and sat down. The girl looked really sad and I felt bad. I hated seeing people like this. It was silent and Austin decided to break silence. "Brianna this is Victoria" he said facing her. I smiled at her "hi Victoria it's nice to meet you" I said. She looked torn apart when I said that. I was completely lost. "Do you remember her" he asked me. I shook my head. It feel silent again and Victoria started crying. "Are you my friend?" I asked. She loiked up at me and sad smile. "Best friend" she said.

I looked at Austin who nodded. "I'm sorry but don't remember" I said. Why can I not remember anything that is important in my life? "Victoria can we talk outside" Austin asked. She nodded and followed him outside. I sat there and fiddled with my fingers. I got up and took my bags upstairs. I walked in Austin's room and set the bags on bed. I stripped of my clothes and took a dress that I bought on. It stopped mid thigh and was all black and lace pattern up the neck. I looked at myself in the mirror. I didn't think I could ever wear this. My scars didn't show but I was so self conscious.

"Fuck" I mumbled and stared at myself. I saw Austin leaning on door frame. I smiled and looked down at my feet. He wrapped his arms around my waist and planted a kiss on my shoulder. "You look beautiful" he whispered in my hair. "No,I look horrible" I said below whisper. He turned me around and cupped my face. "No Brianna you are beautiful and that dress shows it" he said and kissed my lips. With him being 6'4 and me being only 5'6 I had to be on my tippy toes. I pulled back and looked in his big brown eyes.

"Are you hungry" I said distracting myself before I did 'something'. He chuckled and nodded,I smiled and shoved him out door. "I have change" I said closing the door. I changed in pyjamas I pulled my hair up to a messy bun. I walked downstairs to see Austin taking out some chicken. I shook my head "is it ok if I cook today" I said rubbing my arm.
