when you can't fall asleep at night

I walked out of the shower when 'when you can't fall asleep at night' came on. I sang along with Shelley. I pulled on my sweatpants and a over sized sweatshirt. I had no shirt on. It began getting dark. I walked down stairs seeing Austin in the living room. "Hey" I said. He smiled" hey you hungry" he asked. I shook my head "no" he patted the spot next to him. I walked over and sat down. He pulled me closer to him. "Do you have a pattio?" I asked. He nodded and pointed outside" do you mind if I call someone" I asked. He shook his head as I walked out. I dialled Faith's number and held it up to my ear.

"Hello" she said on the other side of the line." Hey faith sorry I wasn't in school today"I said apologetically. "It's ok but why weren't you here" she asked. I sighed "you are never gonna believe what just happened" I said. "What tell me" she said. I sighed "Austin carlile walked in my class and as we speak I am in his house" I said. "No way why are you there" she yelled in my ear. "Ow and that's the thing can we meet up for some breakfast tomorrow" I asked. She agreed and we made a plan. I decided not to tell Austin about it. We said our goodbyes and I hung up. I walked back inside.

I saw Austin sitting on the couch. I smiled and he pulled me to sit down. "Who were you talking to" he asked cuddling up next to me. "No ine just a friend" I said. I giggled as he placed a kiss on my neck. I don't know I was ready for that. "Austin" I moaned. He stopped and I didn't want him to but I didn't show it. "Austin why did you pick me" I asked. "You were special" he said. "Why did you remarry" I asked. He sighed" I don't know. Ever since I lost you I was devastated and I didn't know what to do" I felt a hint of jealousy hit me. "That's when I met Giella. I thought I was in love with her and I married her. When she cheated on me I was upset. But when I was with her I could only see you." I was near tears while he said that. "I'm sorry Austin" I said as everything came out. Be lifted my chin and forced me to look at him." For what" he said. "Everything, I lost you and I have no idea how. Why me Austin out of all the girls falling for you me why" I sobbed. He didn't say anything.

"Brianna you are the love of my life and always will be" he said. "Bullshit Austin" I pushed him off of me. I hadn't noticed he wrapped his arms around me. "That's all a lie,how could you like someone like me" I said as I pulled my pants down exposing my scars. His eyes looked straight at all the scars covering rlegs and thighs. He walked towards me and pulled my pants up. He wrapped his arms around me again pulling me close. "Don't ever do that to yourself again ok" he said. "Promise me" he said. I didn't say anything "promise me" he said. "I can't" I said." Why not" he said looking in my eyes. "It's really hard to keep promises, I have promised many people but failed" I said. "Brianna pleas promise me I can help you " he said. I nodded"ok" he smiled and planted a kiss on my lips. I wasn't expecting that.
His lips were so soft. His lips were so sweet and I loved how they moved in sync. His toung moved across my bottom lip. I parted to let him in. He placed his arms around my waist and pulled me.close. I wrapped my arms around his neck. Am I ready to do this. He pushed me on couch and he was hovering above me. His lips moved down to my neck. I moaned and pushedy hips up. He moved his hand up my thight. "Austin" I said sitting up. He looked at me "I'm sorry" I shook my head. "No I think I shouldn't be moving to fast" I said. "We should get to know each other" I said. "But we do know each other I know everything about you." He said. "I don't" i said. He looked down and back up to me. "You're right" he said. "Why don't we get dinner to know each other" I said. He nodded"can we go to sleep" I asked. He nodded"of course"

We walked up stairs and entered the room. I crawled into bed with Austin behind me. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me close to his chest. I breathed in his sent. He started humming a familiar tune.
"pretty little lady with those swollen eyes will you show them to me, I know I'm not that perfect but you stay awhile baby then you will see,miles away I can still feel you lay your head down on my embrace my embrace far away," sleep over took my body and I closed my eyes leaving Austin's sent drift me to sleep
