An Alan Ashby Fanfiction

We had reached our first Warped Tour destination at 7 in the morning, I know this because I was the only one awake when we reached Salt Lake City because I was too paranoid and nervous and that bitch of a voice in my head was telling me that I was going to screw it all up. Frustrated, I got out of my bed, made sure Alan was still asleep in his bed and began to change. I made sure to keep an eye on Alan because he was facing me but I don’t really think I would have minded if he woke up…
No. What am I thinking? No! He is my client, his band is my client, I will be with them for months. Developing feelings or even acting on those feelings would fuck up this tour and make everything awkward. I pulled on a pair of high waisted leggings and my DropDead crop top with a cat on it saying ‘Get Bent’, gathered my stuff and walked over to the couches.
“You’re an early bird too?” I jumped at the voice and turned to see who had startled me. It was Aaron holding a cup of coffee. Now I wanted coffee.
“Aaron! Hey! No not usually, I just couldn’t sleep. All the excitement and the nervousness and everything” I said with a smile.
“Well in that case, you might need this more than me” Aaron handed me his undrunk coffee and walked back into the kitchen to make himself another one. I took a sip, the coffee was like ecstasy.
“Aaron I have never had a coffee that has tasted this good before!” I was in awe of the guy; singer, guitarist and awesome coffee maker.
“Wanna know the secret?” Aaron winked at me, “Wake up Phil and get him to make it.” I walked into the mini kitchen area in the bus and saw Phil making five more coffees and I burst into laughter.
“Aw! Phil!” I had tears streaming down my face.
“I SMELL PHIL’S COFFEE!!!” Austin runs into the small kitchen area, which was getting kind of crowded now, and spots the coffee and kneels down besides Phil.
“Give it to me Phil, just pour it down my throat” He has his mouth open and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Now I know why there is so much fan fiction written between the five of you guys.” I shake my head and giggle.
“I ship Cashby” Austin says to me seriously.
“No. N-no no no no no no no” Alan walks into the room, having a look of mock horror on his face. “I don’t ship Cashby.”
“What do you ship then?” I inquired, batting my eyelashes and looking all innocent.
“Cashby.” Alan replies putting the same serious face on that Austin did, “But not Austin and Alan, CATS and Alan.”
Tino and Aaron gave each other a look of “what are we going to do with him?” and laughed.
“I ship Vicpoffe” I said, not sure if I was doing the whole ‘ship’ thing right.
“What the fuck is Vicpoffe” Tino looked at me like I was crazy. Phil had a smirk on his face so I assumed he knew what I was talking about.
“Victoria and Phil’s Coffee” I said while chugging down the rest of my cup.
“But you haven’t tasted my coffee yet!” Alan protested against my ‘ship’.
“You’re coffee taste like crap.” Phil replied casually.
“That’s not fair! You have Starbucks advantage!” Alan said back, referring to Phil’s old job as a barista at Starbucks.
“Don’t worry Vic.” Austin puts his arm around me, “You should wait for KFC Wednesday, Alan cooks” I laughed because now Austin was referring to Alan’s old job at KFC.
Alan sticks his tongue out at Austin and we all laugh and move from the crowded kitchen into the lounge area. I gather my stuff and get ready to go outside.
“Hey where are you going?” Alan asks me.
“Just outside, say hi to some of the bands and start organizing some stuff” I smile at him. Alan looked like he wanted to ask something but appeared too nervous to say it. I smiled even wider and decided to break all my rules.
“Want to come with me?” I asked him. Alan’s face lit up like a child’s on Christmas.
“Hell yeah! Just let me grab some stuff!”
