Another You

I got back from the store and went to Austin’s house to pick up my things. I walked in the house and ran upstairs to collect my things.

“Baby? What are you doing?” I turned around and saw Austin stood in the door way looking at me with sad eyes

“I-I.. um, I’m getting my things and going home” I sighed

“Why? What’s up with you?” He asked moving closer to me, whispering

“Nothing is wrong, I just need to see how my place is and sort somethings out” I lied

“Do you want me to come with you?” He asked

“Austin for fuck sake will you just let me have my space!” I raised my voice a little higher than I intended to and this obviously stunned him “Listen, I’m sorr...”

“No! Fuck you! You want to have your space? Then fucking go home, I have tried to ask you what the hell is up but all you do is lie and blank me out, so now you want your space, go. fucking. have. it... You know where the door is” He shouted and walked out the room. I stood in the same spot he left me in. Feeling the tears stream down my face I put all my belongings in the bag I had brought with me.

I was at the front door when Austin came round the corner from the kitchen. He looked sad, angry, but most of all confused. I looked at him for two more seconds before I opened the door and walked to my car and made my way home.

“Izzy is that you?” Bailey asked as soon as she heard the front door shut

“Yeah, Yeah it’s me” I said. I strolled into the living room to greet her

“Have you been crying?” Bam, there I go again, I felt like such an idiot, crying in front of my best friend, lying to my boyfriend and telling him to piss off.

“Just don’t worry about me, I will be fine i just need some sleep that’s all.” I weekly smiled

“Alan told me by the way” She muttered

“What do you mean?” I raised an eyebrow

“He told me about how you broke down after lover boy asked you to go on tour with them” She replied. “You need to let go of the past, there is no way that rotten, self centred, dickhead is going to get you. You know why?” She put her hand under my chin so I could look at her “Because you will have me there, you have Of Mice & Men there and you are never going to be alone when you are there, so if he wants to get you he will have to get through the rest of your friends” She smiled I teared up at her helping me but I still felt on edge.

“Can you promise me something?” I asked

“Yeah, sure” She smiled

“Please don’t tell Austin or anyone else for at matter about this hole situation, please” I pleaded

“You mean... He doesn’t know about this?” She asked shocked, I just shook my head “Either you’re going to tell him or I am” She sternly looked me in the eyes.

“No please don’t... Just give me sometime please” I begged

“You have two days to tell him about this and if you don’t I am going to personally do it for you” She hissed and went to sit back down to watch her tv programme.

I am going to tell him tomorrow.
