Austin POV

I was anxious to hear what happened. I sat down at Berry's and ordered a smoothie. Alan called me only 20 minutes past 7, so I just told him to join me so he can tell me about it and then I'll take him out to eat. After a few minutes I saw him walking to my table.
''Hey! Well, that was fast, what happened?'' I greeted him.
''Stand up.'' He said with absolutely no emotion.
''What? Why?'' I asked.
''Just do it, please.'' I stood up and he approached me and cupped my face with his palms. He looked into my eyes and I saw his lips were about to move and he was gonna say something.
''I love you Austin and each day I am so so grateful that I know you. Please always remember that.'' He said and kissed me. I was really surprised. He wouldn't act like that in public, so I was starting to think something bad happened.
''I will, I promise and I expect you to do the same.'' I said and smiled at him. We sat down. ''Okay, what's going on? I mean I loved what you just did, but it isn't you, usually...'' I was dying to know what they talked about.
''I just got the urge to hug you and tell you how much I love you. Nothing much happened really. Tyler wanted to ask me if we could make things work, but before that I told him I don't want anything to do with him except a friendly chat if we bump into each other. I was pretty harsh though...'' He wasn't really in a bad mood, he just looked worried.

''So did he try anything later on?'' ''No, he left his money on the table and left. I felt bad and went after him, but I was too late. And you know who picked him up?'' His face expression was confusing. ''Who?'' ''Fucking Josh. I'm like so confused right now, what the heck is up?''

Josh? How does he know Tyler?

''Look Alan, it's fine. Josh is not even gonna look at you anymore, unless he wants reconstructive surgery.'' I was pissed. But I wasn't showing it, because I don't want Alan to panic or worry for no reason. I've got my eye on those two, though.
''I know, it's alright. Tyler won't bother me again, he made it clear tonight.''
We stopped talking about that, because we had a great rest of the evening ahead of us and I was spending the night at Alan's, we were gonna do some songwriting.

''We should name it Feels like forever.'' Alan suggested. ''Oh yeah, that's nice. Done.'' I replied and smiled at him. We finished our third song and I was very pleased. See, moments like this make all the Joshes and Tylers disappear. Alan and I have so much in common and we both love music, so our time together is never a bore. It's been even better since we started dating. It did scare me sometimes, that some things would hurt me more than if I was single, of course I don't want Alan to get hurt in any way.

''What do you wanna do when you're older?'' He asked. ''Singer in my band, that would be awesome. But if not that, I'd love to be a manager or something similar. How bout you?''
He turned towards me and thought about it. ''Well, a guitar player obviously. My second choice would probably be a teacher.'' I was surprised. ''Really? Wow, I never thought of that.'' ''Yeah, I love kids.''

Suddenly I heard a sound of laughter and something like scratching. Alan's parents went to the seaside for the weekend, so it was just us. ''Did you hear that?'' I asked.
''Hear what?''
''Stay here, I'll be right back.'' I said and went downstairs. I looked through the window first, but I was standing behind the curtain so they wouldn't see me, whoever it was. I saw an unknown man, the other one I recognized immediately. It was Josh. Now I was really fed up with this shit.

''What the fuck do you want?!'' I said loudly, when I opened the door. ''Isn't this Alan Ashby's place? What are you doing here?'' Said the one I didn't know. But when I connected the dots, I figured out it's Tyler. ''Yes, and I'm his boyfriend. Now enlighten me why are you here and who the fuck are you?'' I said. ''Well, well... you must be Austin. Josh mentioned you like to fist-fight.'' They had this annoying and pretentious tone of voice. ''I'm Tyler and this is...'' ''Josh, yeah, I recognized the fuckface right away.'' Josh raised his eyebrow and looked at me. ''No need to use those words, we just wanna talk to Alan. Give us 10 minutes and we'll be on our way.'' I knew they were up to no good. ''Unfortunately, that won't be possible. Now get the the fuck out of my face.'' I said and slammed the door shut.

That was the biggest mistake I made.
