Austin POV

We arrived to Aaron's house in about 15 minutes. I was really looking forward to meeting all Alan's friends because I know they're important. I mean, he doesn't really have anyone that relevant at school. When Aaron opened the door, Alan jumped on him and they huged for a minute, probably.

''Aaron, meet my boyfriend Austin.'' Alan introduced me. I offered him a hand, but he just huged me instead.
''Nice to meet you man, finally! Come in, let's get started.'' He replied and we all went to the living room, where I met Phil, Valentino and some other cool guys. I really liked the music they were playing and they were all so chill and laidback. I missed this kind of company.
After 2 hours of talking, making dinner and eating it, I was siting on the couch, drinking my Pepsi, while Alan was playing Guitar hero with Valentino and Phil.
''Hey.'' Aaron took a seat next to me.
''Hey man, rad get-together. Love the music.'' I said and smiled.
''Thanks man, you and Alan are welcome anytime. I'm really glad he found you.'' He said and took a sip of his beer. ''You seem like a very cool guy… and him…'' he said and pointed at Alan. ''I haven't seen him this happy in a long time.''
''Thanks man, you and the guys are an awesome bunch, glad I'm a part of it.'' They really were awesome. It made me very happy that they are Alan's friends, he deserves people like them around him. ''I do my best to make him happy, I really care about him. He's great.'' I said.
''Yeah, he really needed someone like you. He's had a boyfriend before, but he was an asshole jock.'' Aaron became sad for a few seconds, then the smile returned to his face and he looked at me.
''A jock? Wow, I thought nobody knew about Alan…'' I replied.
''They kept it a secret for a year, then he left to college and dumped him for the stupidest excuses he could find.''
''Oh my god, that's horrible. But leaving to college, that can be rough, cause of the distance and stuff…''
''It's only 2 hours away. I mean, he could be with him, it's not that far. Could be much worse.''
''True.''
''After he left, Alan was devastated. We we all there for him, but it took him almost a year to fully get over that jerk.''
I felt really bad for Alan. Why hasn't he told me any of this? But I decided not to say anything, I'm sure he'll address me with the problem. He was very understaning when it came to my mom, so I owe him at least that.
''I promised myself and him and that I'll never hurt him. He's really special to me.'' I said and looked at Aaron. I could see how he smiled at me, even with his eyes.
''I really ship you guys. So stay together, love eachother ...make eachother happy, just like you do now.'' He laughed. Ship, haha, that's awesome. Fangirling over us, I approve!
''Yeah, You bet we will.'' I replied and took a sip of my Pepsi.

After a great Friday hangout at Aaron's, me and Alan arrived to his place. We arranged the sleepover. Because we weren't tired yet, we put on a movie and jumped under covers and a blanket and cuddled up.
''So, did you have a good time?'' He asked me.
''Yeah, I had a great time! Aaron and the guys are great.''
''Cool, because they love you, man!'' He laughed. That's how I wanna see him, happy, laughing …not sad.
''I'm glad.'' I replied.
''Someone stopped by today when I came home from your house…'' He started after a few minutes of watching the movie.
''Was it Josh? I swear I'll kick his teeth in.'' I thought it was him, he bothers Alan constantly.
''No, no. It was my ex.'' This must be the one Aaron was talking about. But I said nothing.
''Oh… What did he want?'' I asked.
''To work things out, but I told him no. He asked me to get come coffee with him over the weekend though.'' Alan seemed worried.
''Hey hey… are you okay?'' I said. ''Look at me.'' He was starring at something, but then he looked at me.
''I'm alright… I was just worried how you would take it, since I haven't told you anything about Tyler.''
''Your ex? Don't worry Alan, I wouldn't push you, ever! When you're ready to talk about stuff, you tell me. When we were at the seaside, you didn't pressure me either. And you don't know how much I appreciate it!''
''I know Aus, I know. I do want to tell you about this, you deserve to know.'' He said.

And he did, he told me how they dated for a year, how he dumped him and how he was having a hard time getting over him. I preteneded to hear this for the first time, like Aaron didn't say a thing. And it made him feel better when I pulled him into a hug, when he was resting in my embrace he loved so much. I also didn't argue with the fact that he's gonna have coffee with Tyler this weekend, because that doesn't make him love me any less.
I know Alan is mine and even if he doesn't tell me that he loves me all the time, he makes me feel it.
