Alan POV

''Hey Alan, got a minute?'' Asked a familiar voice. It can't be, hell no. I was hoping I made a mistake, but unfortunately, I was right. I slowly turned around and saw Tyler Carter, my ex-boyfriend. The same Tyler Carter that left to college, that's 2 hours away, with the stupidest excuse ever.

''Tyler?'' I blurted out, shocked to the core, completely.
''Surprise!'' He approached me and pulled me into a hug. I was speechless, didn't really know what to say.
''H-hi... what are you doing here?'' I asked and slowly pulled away. I wasn't very comfortable in his arms anymore, it felt very strange and it brought back memories.
''Well, I took a one year break from college, decided to come back and help my dad with the firm. Look at you! You look great.'' He replied.
''Uhm, that's great I guess... but what are you doing here, at my house?'' His blue eyes were staring at me, watching and following my every move. He still looked amazingly good, but the spark between us, it was long gone.
''Well, we dated for a year, I missed you. I came to see you ...aren't you happy to see me?'' He was confused, because I was the one crying on his shoulder when he told me he was breaking up with me. He didn't have to leave me though, his university is only 2 hours away and we could keep this going if he wanted to, because I did. I really did.
''Please don't expect me to prance around like a little puppy ...you dumped me remember? I don't see the point of this visit, sorry.'' I said as my fingers went through my hair.
''Oh come on Alan, can't we work this out somehow? At least admit that you missed me. I know you did.''
''You're wrong, I haven't. I spent almost a year getting over you and I've moved on. So if you came to work things out, you're way too late.'' I replied. He looked really disappointed. But I'm with Austin now and even if I wasn't, I would never take Tyler back.
''Alright, suit yourself. At least have some coffee with me this weekend.''
I was hesitating, but in the end I said yes. I mean, it's just coffee.
''Bye Alan, I'll see you soon.'' He said, smiled at me and left. I was just standing at my door, weirded out, wondering why he came back. I just hope he won't make any trouble, I've got enough shit with Josh anyways.

So it was the day of Aaron's party and Austin agreed to come with me because he wants to meet my friends and stuff. I hit the showers, trying to forget about Tyler and just relax a little. I can't go to a party all tense and shit. I was deciding on my outfit way too long, but in the end I went with the grey skinny jeans, a striped b&v tank top and my red all stars. I quickly fixed my hair and grabbed my phone because Austin was already on the driveway, waiting for me.
I threw myself on the passenger seat, closing the door behind me and putting my seatbelt on.
''Wow princess, you look very nice.'' He said and smiled at me. Oh Austin and his smile, it's just so sincere, straight from the heart.
''Thanks. You do too, as always, I love that freaking shirt.'' I replied. He was wearing black skinny jeans and the most rad shirt from his Suicide Silence collection.
We drove off and I was actually pretty excited. I decided to leave the ex conversation for later, when we get home. I just couldn't wait for my friends to meet my lovely Austin. I'm sure they'll love him.
