Austin’s POV

I was sitting on my bunk, the guys had gone out to dinner and Gielle was sleeping next to me naked and under the blanket. I felt disgusting sleeping with her and I got up, walking to the shower and getting in. We had a day off and I couldn’t go see Blessing or Marie today. I got out, putting on clean clothes and walking off the bus. I saw Oliver walking toward a small food joint and I walked after him.

“Oliver!” I called. He turned around and smiled as I got closer.

“Hey mate, care to join me for some food?” He asked. I nodded and walked with him.

“Can I talk you about something?” I asked, crossing the street.

“Is it about you and Jack’s girl?” He asked. I looked at him and he laughed, ruffling his hair.

“Austin, you know how many fans are pissed at you when they found out why she left you? Plus, I recognized her from your Instagram photos. You were head over heels in love.”

“I still am.” I spoke. “I want her back; I hate how Jack has her now.” I answered, walking in with him to a sushi place.

“Listen mate, these things take time. If she really does love you, then she’ll go back. But you know, Jack really loves her too.” Oliver looked over the menu and ordered. I stood around, telling the girl my order and went back to thinking.

“So I just wait?” I asked, looking at Oliver.

“It’s the only thing left mate.” He shrugged. I nodded and sighed, leaning on the counter. I looked around the place and saw a few people looking at us strangely. “I don’t think I’ll ever get used to people staring at us.” Oliver spoke, not even looking at the people. He paid for his order and I paid for mine. I saw a few kids walking by and one pointed at us and I waved, having the small group run in and ask for our autographs and photos with us. I saw the few people in the shop continue to look at me as one of the girls hugged me tightly, telling me that she was grateful for our music.

After the kids left and we sat down and ate our food, the door opened and Marie and Tony walked in, looking at the menu. I stayed quiet, hoping that she wouldn’t notice me and make all this awkward. She was looking at the menu while Tony was ordering his food.

“She here?” Oliver smiled at me. I looked at him and he chuckled, eating his roll. “Calm down and don’t look at her. Just leave her be.” I found it really hard actually. She was smiling as Tony told her something and soon they walked out the door. I finished my food and threw the container away, following Oliver out the door and back to the buses.

“I visit her during the All Time Low set.” I whispered, cautious of other people listening.

“To see her?” Oliver asks.

“My daughter, mostly.” I answer. “But yes, to see her.”

“I hope you’re doing nothing to her. She can only take so much, mate.” Oliver said. I stopped walking and ran a hand through my hair, clenching my jaw.

“I hate all this.” Oliver stood a few feet from me and watched as I looked at the ground.

“Relax mate.” Oliver started but I cut him off.

“How am I supposed to relax? Do you understand how this even feels like?” I asked him.

“I was the same with Hannah, I understand perfectly mate.” Oliver said calmly. I sighed and nodded.

“I’m going to my bus, thanks for everything.” Oliver nodded and we went our separate ways. I walked past a few buses and saw the guys from PTV laughing while Blessing was on Jaime’s shoulders, Mike playing patty cake with her. I saw Alex, Zack, and Rian from ATL with them but Jack and Marie weren’t with them.

It wasn’t hard to figure out where they were.
