Bones Exposed [Sequel to: Those In Glass Houses]

The Webs We Weave

Austin’s POV

We made it to the second day of Warped and I couldn’t wait till evening to meet Blessing. I was also able to see Marie and hopefully spend time with her and try to get her back. It pissed me off that Jack was with her, just the thought of her marrying him made me sick to my stomach. Jack was my best friend, and I couldn’t help but hate him. I understood why he was holding back around me during the photo shoots. I sat on my bunk, Gielle sleeping next to me and I clenched my teeth, my blood boiling knowing that they both are going to get married. I got off bed, changing into some clean clothes and walking off the bus. I was pretty hungry and the only good food was inside the venue.

I saw a lot of fans walking around and just relaxing, some cheering for the early bands and I made my way in, putting my sunglasses on. A meet a few fans, most of them following me and asking questions. I smiled, answering them and taking pictures with them. I reached the food court and watched as there was another group of fans taking pictures of the three of them.

Blessing was giggling as Jack fed her a fry and Marie was drinking a lemonade, her other hand holding a plate of fries with cheese. Jack laughed as Blessing was trying to take a bite of his hot dog and he picked her up, spinning her around. I could hear her laughter and I walked over to the line, going to order my food.

I noticed that Jack saw me and he whispered something to Marie who nodded but stayed put. Jack walked over to me and I turned my attention to him, seeing Blessing eye me. “Austin, I figured you would like to meet your daughter officially.” Jack spoke. I looked at Blessing and she shyly looked at me, hiding her face.

“Hey, look baby, this is your real daddy.” Jack said, his voice breaking a bit. He covered it up by clearing his throat and I smiled at Blessing.

“Hello darling. Don’t you look wonderful today?” I asked her. “Who bought you these clothes?” I asked. She had a Pierce the Veil shirt on with some blue jean shorts and red Vans.

“Daddy.” She pointed to her shirt. “Mommy.” She then pointed to her shoes. I smiled, softly pinching her cheek and she giggled.

“We have to go.” Marie spoke up, walking over. Jack nodded and we said our goodbyes. He lifted Blessing on his shoulders, holding her ankles as Marie walked next to him, feeding her fries. I felt a tug in my heart and lost my appetite. I didn’t want the fans around to notice what was wrong so I ordered a drink and paid. I walked back to the buses, greeting more fans and I went to get ready for that night.

Annemarie’s POV

I stayed where I was while Austin met Blessing. I guess he didn’t need to go over that night. I felt relieved but also kind of sad. I shook off the feeling, going back to the buses with Blessing and Jack. We stayed, playing a few games and soon he left for the meet and greet and to practice before they actually had to go out. Blessing and I stayed on the bus, playing some games and she got entertained watching The Little Mermaid. She loved Disney movies, just like Austin. I heard her trying to sing along as I picked up the toys, smiling.

Like father, like daughter.

I heard a knock on the door and walked over, opening it and Austin stood there. He had just taken a shower and I looked at the clock, seeing it was 5:15. “Our set is done.” He answered, staring at me. I nodded, allowing him to walk in and he did, greeting Blessing and sitting next to her. She stared at him, recognizing him from earlier. She pointed at the TV and Austin chuckled. I picked up the rest of the toys and put them in the small green box we got her.

“How long have you and Jack been together?” I heard him say.

“Since I was 6 months.” I answered. He didn’t answer and I decided to ask him a question. “What about you and that thing?” I asked. I heard him chuckle and I looked at him. He was watching me intently and I shifted, sitting on Blessing’s other side.

“She won’t sign the papers, so I’m stuck with her.” I rolled my eyes, seeing Blessing watching the movie. I looked at the TV and back at the floor. “Remember when we used to spend all day watching Disney movies?” He whispered. I stayed quiet and I heard him shuffle around. I looked up at him, watching as he sat next to me. “I missed you.” He whispered, cupping my cheek.

“I’m with Jack.” I stuttered, pulling away.

“And I’m with Gielle, so?” He asked, pulling my face back to his.
“I can’t do this to him.” I got up, seeing Blessing falling asleep. I took her to the back and crouched next to her.

“Do you want to sleep with mommy and daddy?” Blessing shook her head, pointing to Zack’s bunk and I nodded, laying her in it. Austin stood behind me, watching as I placed her in bed and I heard him growl.

“Jack is not her dad.”

“He’s been there this whole time.” I snapped, tucking her in. I closed the bunk’s curtain and pushed past Austin, feeling him follow me.

“I would have too if you didn’t leave me, Marie!” Austin raised his voice.

“And what was I supposed to do? March in the house and claim back the life I wanted back? Let’s say that you did only use me, imagine how big of an idiot I would’ve looked like!” I yelled at him. Austin clenched and unclenched his jaw, standing his ground.

“I never have, or ever will use you.” He growled. I scoffed, about to turn around when he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me to him. I tried putting some distance between us but he was still just as strong.

“Let me go, Carlile!” I yelled, staring at his face. Austin ignored me, grabbing a handful of my hair and leaning down to my neck.

He yanked my head back roughly, his mouth giving me butterfly kisses. He moved up my neck to my jaw and then to the corner of my mouth. I tried so hard to push him away, but soon my fingers clutched his shirt tightly and pulled him closer. His lips lightly brushed mine when I heard laughter and I gasped, pushing him away and looked at the window. The curtains were down but I could hear laughter outside.

“Ignore them, it’s only BlessTheFall.” Austin whispered, pulling me tighter.

“Get out.” I spoke, but he went back to my neck. I whimpered and felt his lips smirk.

“You sure, baby?” He whispered, his breath fanning my neck.

“Get. Out. Now!” I yelled. I pushed him away pointing to the door and he scoffed.

“You’ll leave him for me. I know you will.” He spoke. I didn’t look at him as he walked past me, kissing my cheek before leaving.

Notes

Sorry for not updating! I hope you guys know that this might not end with Austin and Annemarie together. I'm just saying. :) How was your Valentine's Day guys? If you guys read the authors note, in my previous story (I think...) I mentioned that after 4 1/2 years of dating my boyfriend, we broke up. I woke up on Valentine's Day to him on my counter, eating MY FUCKING CEREAL!

Apparently my mother let him in before she left for work and he waited for me to wake up. He got me a two roses and turtle chocolate.

That little shit left me confused. But anyway, if you want to hear more of it, which none of you do, send me a message and ask. The little bitch is sitting next to me right now watching a fucking movie.

It would have been an insane plot twist if someone other than jack or Austin found her, like say they told everyone else and someone else was to find her instead of Austin OMG what am I doing to myself
