Save Me

Millie was mad at me. Extremely. The fact that Kell and I were going to be back together infuriated her. She wouldn't speak to me, and it had been two months now. It was another one of those days that Vic and I were shopping all day. "Hi?" Said a meek voice from behind me. "Acealeigh?" I said astounded. "I am so so sorry for everything." She said, so sincere. "It is okay." I said, hugging her for the first time. "Friends?" She said, smiling. "Friends." I said, linking arms with her and Vic and walking on to the food court. "Uh.. Jezabelle?" She asked, meek again. "Yeah?" I said as we sat down to eat. "I have a huge favor to ask of you.." she said. "That is?" I said, stuffing my face with pizza. "I need somewhere to stay for a while?" She said, looking down at the food court table. "Of course. As long as it's okay with Vic and Kellin. Since Vic has basically taken over our house." I said, laughing. She smiled a relieved smile as I called Kellin. He said yes. "Yep. You can stay." I said as we got up and left for home. When we got home, Lily jumped on me, licking my face furiously. I laughed and pushed her down. "Jez, I need to talk to you." Kellin said, pulling me up the stairs and to our room. "What's up, baby?" I asked. "We need to go public.." he said, touching my cheek. "I know." I sighed. "Babe, you can't let them get to you." He said. "I know." I said again in defeat. "Look. No matter what happens, I love you. Those fans mean opinions don't matter to me and they shouldn't to you. You don't even know their names. And plus, they shouldn't be calling themselves a fan if they can't accept the people I love." He said, kissing me softly. I smiled, knowing he was completely right. "Okay, baby." I whispered. It was the day after Kellin had told me we were going public again, and I wasn't as nervous as I had anticipated. "You ready baby?" Kellin breathed in my ear from behind, scaring the living daylights out of me. "Oh my God, Kell. I was. But now I'm scared you're gonna throw me to crowd surf if you're scaring me now!" I screeched, my heart pounding out of my chest. "Is Acealeigh ready?" He asked casually as if he had not just scared me to death. "Yeah." I said, still breathless. "Are you, my love?" He said, hugging my tiny waist. "Yep." I said. "Alright, this is it." He said, jumping up and down side stage. "It is. This is it. We're going public.. again." I said, watching as he continued to bounce and buzz around like the Energizer Bunny. I laughed at the thought. The guys gave me confused looks, but oh well. Finally, they went on. Kellin and the guys did "Postcards And Polaroids" first. "Okay, y'all. I have a very very special guest today. And this is the most important guest to me ever!" He said, running back to me and unexpectedly picking me up bridal style and running me to center stage. I laughed as he put me down, the crowd all staring at me, some recognizing me. "Ladies and gentlemen! Jezabelle and I are back together!!! And I love her more than anything in the world, and I really hope y'all love her just as much as me." He said, smiling a wide smile. The crowd cheered in approval. I smiled and stole the mic from Kell. "Thanks, y'all! I love you guys!" I said, giving it back to him and kissing him on the cheek before I left the stage. "They say that love is forever... your forever is all that I need." He said, glancing at me sitting in a chair side stage. And then they went on to sing my favorite song. I closed my eyes, humming along to the lyrics. I was interrupted about halfway into the song by someone tapping on my shoulder. This didn't aggravate me, what happened next did. My eyes popped open and I turned to see Austin. "What." I growled. "I... nevermind." He said, walking off. I let him leave. I was sick of being pushed around. And from that day on, nobody would ever do it again. I would make sure of that.
