"But it would be sooo pretty in pink!!" My super girly sister whined. "Ew. No. I am not having a pink wedding. Forget it. It will be purple and blue." I said as Austin came up behind me, kissing me on the cheek. "Purple and blue, baby?" He asked. "Yes, love." I replied. "What day?" He asked. "Well I was thinking August 17th. What do you think?" I asked my wonderful fiancé. "Sounds great, gorgeous. That's a month away. We can find some invitations." He said, walking into the kitchen and pulling out a cup for his coffee. "Love? Will you please pour me a cup too?" I asked Austin. "Of course, baby." He said, getting another cup. Lily ran up to me, jumping on my lap. "Well hey, sweetie!" I said as she planted a big slobbery kiss on my face. Okay, ew. I wiped my face on my shirt and patted my dog on the head. She jumped down, ran to the door and barked. Millie must be here already, I thought opening the door to see my best friend standing there, crying. "Millie, what's wrong??" I asked, pulling her inside. "Well.. Uh.. AJ came to the house.. And he started hitting me.. And then he threw me to the ground, kicking me repeatedly." She said between her sobs. "I'm taking you to the hospital, and then I'm making sure the cops are there so you can press charges." I said getting up and going to my room, searching frantically for something decent to wear. Austin came in, closing the door softly behind him. "Baby, calm down. She's going to be okay." He said, walking to me and wrapping his arms around me. "Yeah, but I might not. That scum deserves to be in jail the rest of his life." I said, cuddling up to his chest. "Baby, it's ok." He said. "No it's not, Aus. He hurt my best friend. She's like my sister." I said, hugging him tight. "I know." He said. "Good news is that she will be okay, and they're working on finding AJ. And she's getting some rest." Millie was staying in our guest bedroom. "Hey, we need some quality time, don't you think?" I asked Aus. "Let's go sit in the moon chair on the balcony." Austin said. I followed him out to the balcony and sat down next to him on the huge chair. I curled up next to him, putting my arms around his neck. "I love you." Aus said, kissing my forehead. "I love you too, babe." I replied, kissing his cheek. "So. When do you think we should pick out our cake?" Austin asked. "Uhm maybe the week before." I said. He didn't reply to me, but started playing with my hair. I closed my eyes, laying my head on his chest. I listened to his,thankfully, strong heart beat. We didn't say anything, just laid there in each others arms. It was perfect. I missed this kind of time with him, and I knew we didn't have much time together before he went back to work. It made me really sad and actually made me feel a bit lonely. "Baby? You okay?" Austin said, sensing something was wrong with me. "Yeah.. I guess." I said. "No, what's wrong?" He insisted. "I'm just going to really miss you when you have to go back to work." I said, feeling stupid. "Hey, that's not for another two weeks, don't sweat it." He said, holding my hand in his.
I woke up to an empty spot next to me. I figured Austin had just gotten up to make breakfast or go get milk or something. But when I got up, there was a note on the bathroom door. "Baby, I'm sorry. We got called into work earlier than I figured. :( Please don't be upset with me. I'll be home this evening. I love you with all my heart, Jezzy. See you later. Xoxo-Aus." I sighed and took the note, throwing it on the bed, and going to the bathroom. I stared at myself in the mirror wondering how just a year ago, I was nobody. I was a fan. Yes, of course Aus loved his fans, but still. He didn't know my name. How just a year ago, half the world didn't know my name. And now almost everyone did. I looked at the face staring back at me in the mirror. I was never satisfied with it. I still got gross pimples and blackheads. Yet Austin proclaimed his love for me every day. Weird. I looked away from my reflection and got in the hot shower, letting the water run down my tiny body. I needed a me day anyway. I figured since Austin was gone, and Bella probably already had plans that I would go get a massage and a mani-pedi and pamper myself with a day of shopping. That was a thought that made me smile. I needed some alone time. Not a lot of it, just a smidgen. I got on a really cute outfit after I got out of the shower and headed for the nail salon.
"So what do you want done today?" the nice lady asked me. "I'd like a French mani-pedi with flowers on my toes and nothing but the French on my mani." I said, deciding to look really girly. I wanted to look nice for the dinner I was preparing for Austin tonight. He deserved to come home to something nice for a change. As the lady did my nails, I thought of what I would cook. Hmm. Sushi sounded amazing right now. I'd make sushi for us tonight. Perfect. I decided I'd decorate the house nice. Just a little thank you for everything dinner. Anyone else, I wouldn't do this for. The lady finished with my nails and I paid and left. Now it was time for shopping. I decided to not get a massage since I wanted time for clothes and food shopping. I hit the mall first because I didn't want to shop for food and it then go bad in my heat absorbing Bug.
I walked straight into Hot Topic, my favorite store in the mall. AJ wasn't there, thank God. But the person who asked me if I needed help sparked up a conversation. "Wow, you must really love OM&M. Do not blame you one bit. They're amazing." the young girl said, as I was completely decked out in their merch, including my plugs. I laughed, almost sarcastically. "Well I would hope I would like their music." I said, still laughing. The girl looked at me, eyes full of confusion. "I'm Austin's fiancé." I said, holding my hand out to the now shocked girl. "You're Jezabelle. Hi, I'm Marie, nice to meet you." the girl said, shaking my hand. "Hi, Marie, it's great to meet one of the boys' fans." I said, smiling genuinely at her. "Well let me know if you need any help, Jezabelle." she said, starting to walk off. "Thank you Marie!" I yelled over the very loud music. "Anytime!" she yelled back as I looked through the dresses. I finally found one along with some cute boots to match. I left the store with one last goodbye to the fan. I proceeded to go to the Chanel store and get myself a new handbag. Finally I was done with the mall. I left to the grocery store. Picking up what I needed wasn't the hard part. It was the fans I ran into. Some gave me happy smiles and a lot of others gave me dirty stares and mean words, but I shrugged it off.
Finally I arrived home and made the dinner after decorating. I set the table and then checked my phone. 3 messages. All from Aus. "Hi, baby. Just in case you didn't find the note, I was called in to work earlier than I thought. Sorry love. I love you, Jezzy. xoxo, Aus." I went to the next one. "Hey, love. Sorry, we might be working later than I thought. I love you, Jezabelle. xoxo, Aus." Then the next one. "Baby, I'll be home around four. Do you want me to stop on my way home and grab dinner?" that was only two minutes ago and it was 3:35. "No, babe. It's fine, just get home asap. I miss you. Love you to infinity and back, Jez." I sent the text and got dressed.
"Honey I'm home!" Austin yelled as Lily attacked him with kisses. "In the kitchen babe!" I yelled back. Austin came in the kitchen and gasped as he saw what all I had done. "Baby.. you didn't have to do this." he said, hugging me tight. "But I wanted to." I said, hugging him back and kissing him. He smiled at me. "You look amazing. I'm supposing the reason you didn't answer my texts is because you were shopping." he said. "Yep." I said, leading him to the dinner table. "Thank you baby. This sushi looks amazing." he said, eating one of the sushi rolls. "You're welcome, my love." I said. The rest of the dinner was spent in comfortable silence. When dinner was over, we went for an early bed. Lily curled up in the bed next to me as I cuddled with Aus. "Baby, I'm so glad you're mine." he said, kissing my forehead. But as soon as we drifted off to sleep, there was a knock at the front door. I went downstairs to check, and it was Alan. I was surprised, it was rather late for Alan to be over. "I need to talk to you." he said, letting himself in and plopping down on the couch in the living room. "What's up, ginger?" I asked, plopping down next to him. Austin then walked in, sleepy eyed and yawning. He looked so cute in just his sweatpants with his hair all messed up. "Alan? What are you doing here?" he asked, standing on the stairs. "I need to talk to Jez about something." was all he said and Austin shut up and went back to bed. "Jez, I think I'm in love with your best friend." he said. My mouth dropped. "What?" I said, dumbfounded. "Jezzy. Let me make this clear, I have been falling in love with your best friend since y'all were friends again." Alan said. "Ask her out!" I almost yelled, forgetting that she was just a few doors away. She hadn't really come out of her room, and tonight she didn't want the sushi I fixed, so instead ordered a small pizza. "But how? She just got over AJ and he had beaten her up." Alan whispered. "Just talk to her, say that if you had the chance, you would treat her so much better. Tell her you want the chance to show her how a man really should treat a woman, and by God Alan, if you hurt my best friend, you will not live to see the next day." I said. "I wouldn't dare. Thanks." he whispered, hugging me tightly. "You're welcome. You're also my best friend. My best guy friend at least." I laughed. "And you're my best friend who's a girl." he laughed. I smiled and opened the door for him. After Alan left, I went back to sleep.
I woke up to Lily licking my face about a thousand times. I laughed and pushed my puppy next to me instead of on top of me. Austin wasn't in bed, but he didn't leave me a note saying he was gone, so I expected him to be downstairs. Which he was. "Hi, baby. Pancakes?" he asked. "Yes, please." I said, sitting down at the bar and waiting for him to give me my food. Before he could finish, the doorbell rang. It was Millie. She had a huge smile on her face. Alan must have asked her out, finally, I thought. "Alan asked me out!" she screamed as if she had read my mind. Austin was at the door in seconds. "Alan what?!" he said, with a smile. "Alan asked me out. We're dating." she said, hugging both me and Aus. "Awe, I'm so happy for you." I said, hugging my best friend tightly as she walked inside. "Want some pancakes?" Aus asked. "Please." she said, sitting next to me at the bar. "Ready to continue planning?" Austin asked, sitting in the chair next to me. "Yep." I smiled and went to go get our planning book. "So, colors are purple and blue." And then we finally planned the rest. (Sorry, not writing everything that was included.-Author) When we were done planning the décor, me, Bella, and Millie went to pick out the dress and cake. We got a purple cake ordered for that day with gorgeous flowers, and went to the dress store. "This one." I said, smiling as I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was dressed in a gorgeous white, sparkly dress, and I loved it. We got the dress and stashed it at Millie's so Aus wouldn't see it and went to look at venues. Aus didn't necessarily care about the venue, so we didn't bring him. We chose a gorgeous beach venue and headed home. "Where is it?" Aus asked when we got there. "Beach." I said. There would be something laid down so I could walk in my heels, thank God.
