My hero

Weeks went by without Laney and Austin talking. What had happened had been much too awkward. Laney cut everyday, blaming herself for Austin not talking to her, she told herself that she deserves every cut on her beautiful body. Little did Laney know that Austin could'nt stop thinking about her either. When he talked to his girlfriend, Tanya, Laney was on his mind. When he was rehearsing with his band, Laney was on his mind. Always, it was always Laney, he just wished that he wouldn't have stopped the kiss they had weeks ago. He blamed himself for being stupid. One day, on a saturday morning, Laney awoke to the sound of things banging around in her room. She saw her mom digging through her drawers and throwing clothes out into old worn suitcases.

" What the fuck are you doing?!" Laney yelled.

"Your old enough to move out!" Her mom replied, not even turning to look at her daughter.

"what do you mean?! I'm only 18!" Laney said.

." I was pregnant with you when I was 18 so get over it." Her mom said. Her mom through Lainey's suitcases down the stairs and turned to look at her.

"You can go now. Leave the car." Her mom said.

Laney was in a daze. She had nowhere to go. She had no way of travelling. She had hardly any money. She was homeless. but then it came to her. There was one person. Austin. Laney really didn't want to call him, but she had no choice.

"Hello?" She heard his voice say.

"Austin, it's Laney, I need your help." She said, tears filling her eyes.

"Fuck, where are you?" He asked.

Laney gave him the address of the building she was standing under. And just as she was about to hang up, he said something that surprised her.

"Hey Laney? I'm really happy you called." He said
