Unlikely encounters

When I got back to our room, I snuck past my sleeping parents and got into my bed. While I was out, I met this girl named Kenzie. She ran into me and it was pretty funny. But when I saw her, I could'nt take my eyes off her. She had black hair, pale skin and green eyes. She was beautiful. Her parents seemed like the rich type because their room was massive. Before I left Kenzie, though, she told me to meet her in the lobby at 6:30 pm the next day. I fell asleep thinking about what we were going to do tomorrow.



~~The next day at 6:30~~



I was standing by the bar, waiting for Kenzie, and when I saw her she was smiling hugely and waving at me.

"Come on! Were leaving the ship!" She said

She grabbed my hand and pulled me through the door. We were on the port of Spain.

"The ship is docked here all night!" She said. "Have you ever been to Spain before?" She asked me

"Nah, but I've always wanted to." I said

"Well now you are in Spain! Come on! There's a really pretty fountain. I want a picture by it!" She said.

We walked together talking about school, and our parents and various things in our very different lives. I found out that Kenzie was single, in grade 11, and was the typical all American girl. I told her about wanting to be in a band, and she even asked to hear me sing.

"Oh there it is! Austin take a picture of me!" She squeeled.

As she ran ahead of me to the fountain I watched as her yellow sundress flowed behind her. She stood at the fountain waving me over. She was so full of energy, I loved that about her.

"Alright Kenzie! 1....2....3." I said.

I took the picture and showed it to her.

" it's great! Let's find a place for dinner before we have to be back on the ship." She said.

We walked though the market place and picked up little food items from different shops we passed. The night was great. We walked back to the ship hand in hand, and for the second night in a row, I walked Kenzie back to her room.

"Why thank you kind sir." She said to me.

"It was my pleasure Kenzie." I said as I kissed her hand.

"Tomorrow 11:30 am... Meet me on the sundeck." Kenzie said as she turned around and shut the door.

This girl wasn't playing it easy, but I liked it.
