Innocence is just a lie.

Kellin and I had resorted to cuddling on the couch whilst watching 'Avengers Assemble'- due to my request.

The sun had been replaced long ago by it's closest companion:the moon. Shinning brightly in the star filled sky, some falling from the black backdrop of sky to the earth.
A smile wound onto my face as I tore my eyes from the motion picture playing on the screen, having seen the film far too many times to count, to Kellin. Analysing his face, memorizing every inch of him- the way his eyes focussed, the way his nose scrunched slightly at the violence.

It was then, in that moment of perfection that heaven came calling. The sharp pain ripping inside of me, erupting a small gasp as I held my side- trying to ease the pain as a desperate attempt at peace. But the pain only increased, the worry in the room growing as Kellin tried to help in any way he could think- none of it was worth it though.
Our little angel had been ripped from existence.
Torn from life before it even begun.

Our bundle of joy had died.

Or as the doctor said, it was a 'miscarriage' and there was 'nothing any one could have done'.

The kind words anyone tried to offer were falling on deaf ears, it was all a blur once again. Just when everything was going good life just has a way of ruining that.

Even Kellin wasn't responding to anything anyone said- he usually tried to be a people person no matter what the case.
But this is it.
