My pacing hadn't stopped once I'd placed the four tests on the bathroom counter by the sink, Kellin having left for a while to go out with friends I figured now was the best time. After all, depending on the results I may need time alone.

Thoughts were racing through my mind, filtering all the possibilities each test hold- half of them good.
Just as the timer distracted me from my thoughts the slam of the front door drifted throughout the silence.

Bad timing.
Fuck what am I supposed to do? Check it and then tell him? Hide it find out later and then tell him? Wait until he finds me and check together?
What does it matter either way he's gonna know.

So, I continued my needless pacing, now not only waiting to see the results. It took him a few minutes, but finally, he found me; telling me to stop my pacing, asking me what was wrong- eventually just gripping my arms and looking into my eyes.
"Okay firstly, calm down" His soothing voice reached my ears, stopping my mindless rambling about possibilities- his words doing what they were set out to do. Calming me down entirely.

A shaky breath evaded me before I spilt my guts, "I was doing a test.. ya know to check everything but then I got thinking about all the possibilities. What if it's positive? I mean what would my mom do? OH god what would she do? She'd disown me! I can't..." During my small intake of air Kellin took his turn to speak, cutting into my ramble.
"If any of that happens I'll still be here, okay? Don't worry" He wrapped his arms tightly around my waist after releasing my arms, telling me it would all be okay until it sunk in.

"You wanna check it?" My voice was weak, as I broke free from the warm embrace, our eye meeting once again. He nodded, taking me hand in his before leading me to the counter, both our eyes locking on the mixed symbols.
