Meet My Dedication

I was at the merch booth, setting up all the shirts, a tank, and the jacket they were selling. These things were shit expensive, but people always thought they were well worth it. I hung up the displays, put their prices on them, and then got the posters and set them on the table, next to the CDs and bracelets.
I noticed A Day to Remember's merch guy was talking to someone, who looked oddly familiar. I finished setting up and decided to introduce myself to both of them.
"Hey guys, excited for tonight?" I looked over at the new guy, putting on my best smile. I just needed to figure out if I knew him or not. He sort of just stared at me, like he knew me too.
"You know it, little girl." Jarrod, A Day To Remember's merch guy smiled and side hugged me, we'd been on the road together for a few weeks now, and had gotten pretty close. "Oh, Mikey, this is Marshall. He's with our opening act," he winked at Marshal, "Set It Off."
It clicked, this was Milly's friend, Marshall. "Oh! Hi, Marshall. You know my sister, Milly."
He seemed to make the connection too, he had been staring at me. "Yeah, I thought you seemed really familiar. Is she here too?" He started getting really nervous, looking around to see if she was here.
"No, she's still in Florida, it's just me." I smiled, and that seemed to calm him down a little. "Why?"
"No reason, just wanted to know," he laughed, but it seemed more forced.
"O...kay then, I'll see you guys when the doors open," I waved and went back to my tables, taking out my phone.

Hey, so Marshall is at the show tonight, I guess Set It Off is gonna be with us for the rest of the tour. What's the deal with him and you?
-Mikey

Oh, we had a thing before the band was really big, he was totally in love with me. Gavin kind of scared him off though. :)
-Mills.

He seemed kind of jumpy when I mentioned you. I just thought it was weird.
-Mikey

He is weird, but a total sweetie. I miss you!
-Mills.

Miss you too. Gtg.

I put my phone away and pretended to look busy when my phone buzzed again.

What are you up to today? I thought we could finally finish your arm.
-Zakk

Actually, I moved out of Florida a few weeks ago. I'm with Austin on his tour.
-Mikey

Thanks for telling me.

Sorry, I didn't think you cared that much.

I got distracted from my phone when I heard one of the bands doing their sound check. I was pretty sure it was Of Mice & Men, once I heard the beginning of O.G. Loko. I decided I'd go and check it out, I was usually busy before the shows to really listen in. It sounded pretty interesting.
I pushed open the doors only to see Austin chasing Alan around with his water bottle. "Get back here, Ashby!"
"Can't catch me!" Alan taunted, running up and down the aisles of seats, and Austin right on his tail.
Aaron, Phil, and Tino just stood and laughed as the two boys played tag. I sat down in one of the seats by the door, laughing, which caught Austin's attention.
"Hey!" He waved and Alan ran straight into him, causing the both of them to fall to the ground laughing.
"No, no. Don't mind me, I'm simply observing!" I joked, getting up and making my way to the stage. "So this is what you guys do during your sound check?"
"Yeah, we already know we sound amazing, so we just decide to have fun!" Alan grinned and gave me a giant hug.
I hugged him back, "Alan. Can't... Breathe.." he was squeezing me so tight, I was gasping for air when he finally let me go. "I'm gonna get you... one of these days, I swear it."
"Bring it on, little girl!" He laughed and poked my side.
"Hey, I'm only little by height, not age, little boy." I ruffled his ginger hair and he stuck his tongue out at me, so poked him back, repeatedly, in his stomach, giggling.
"Austin, control your girlfriend!" Alan screamed, while also laughing. That made me stop dead in my tracks. We hadn't put a label on our relationship, or talked about it. We were just together. There was no sex, not since Warped Tour, there were no labels, and I was still terrified to tell him I loved him. Even Austin's face seemed to match mine, conflicted. He didn't drop his smile, though. He just came over to me and swung me over his shoulder.
I yelped, "put me down, Shrek!" I quoted, since we had watched the movie the night before.
"Never, you're mine forever!" He had a mischievous laugh and ran with me towards backstage. I couldn't stop laughing, my stomach was killing me.
"Promise?" I looked up at him as he set me down and pulled me close to him, pressing his lips onto mine. I didn't even think twice about kissing him back. His lips were like a drug, that I was happily addicted to.
"Promise." He kissed my lips again, then made his way down my neck and to my collarbone, his hands grabbing my hips and grinding me into him. I let out a quiet moan, which only made him bite softly.
"I love you," it had slipped out, I was totally in the moment, and I hadn't realized I said it until it was too late.
Austin stopped everything he was doing, but didn't let me go. He simply just wrapped his arms around my wait, and I wrapped mine around his neck. "You love me?"
I nodded and waiting for the repercussions of my confession. "With all of my being, Austin. I'm not the greatest person in the world, my past is dark, and I'm not very social, but I love you. Even with my beaten, broken, shattered heart. That's not ever going to change."
We stood there intertwined and silent for a long moment. I began to get worried that he didn't feel the same way, and that he was about to leave then and there.
"Mikey... I haven't known you very long, and I don't know much about you, other than what I've seen and what you've told me. That being said, I want to get to know more about you. I want this to be an adventure, and it's going to be one of the greatest adventures I've ever had." He smiled and kissed my forehead, "I'll always love you, with all of my heart."
I smiled, kissed his chin, since I couldn't stretch that far to get to his nose. "You have a show soon, which means I have work to do." I let go of him, but he didn't let go of me.
"We have time," I cursed his devilish good looks, "we have plenty of time." He started kissing my neck again, and I was going back into my high.
"Austin... you don't want your fans going without your merchandise do you?: They'd be so disappointed," I tried my best to guilt trip him, and it worked.
"You're mean, but I love you," he spun me around and let me go, walking me back to the tables.
"And I love you," I kissed him, in front of everyone, not feeling shy at all. He was mine, and I was his.
"I'll see you after the show," he winked at me and left to go back to where the bands all were, leaving me alone to deal with the mob of people I was going to face. Luckily, I had been doing this for a little bit, now, so I was used to it.
After hearing Austin tell me he loved me, and me finally telling him, I felt like I could conquer the world.
