Come Waste Away With Me

My vison was blurred from pain. Mason fulfilled his promise of giving me what I deserve. He left about an hour ago. With his absence Kylie rushed over and has been with me. As of right now she is dabbing the side of my lip as I’m icing my head. I’m pretty sure that is bleeding as well. I stared at my smashed phone on the floor. Any hope I had have of saving was now gone. Maybe it’s for the best. “I’ll get you a new phone.”
She must have followed my gaze. “It doesn’t matter now.”
“I told you not to come back.” She shook her head. “Remove the ice from your head, I need to clean up that gash. What did he hit you with?”
“A bottle.” I removed the ice wincing when she started cleaning that cut as well.
“You never told me what happened at the hospital.” She changed the subject.
“Nothing happened.”
“Your brother didn’t beg you to stay?” I closed my eyes.
“He didn’t know I was there.” I sighed. “I left before he woke up.”
“Why?” She began to put a Band-Aid on my forehead.
“I couldn’t have him see me. He would have made me stay; he would’ve known something was wrong.” The pain in my heart was becoming unbearable.
“You should’ve stayed with him.” She shook her head closing the first aid kit.
“Alex saw my eye.” I cursed at myself. “My makeup was all messed up and he saw my eye.”
“Good.” I stared at her. “That means he knows and he will come rescue you.”
“I don’t want rescuing!” I raised my voice.

Kylie convinced me to go out to eat with her as a way of cheering me up. But I don’t think there is any way to cheer me up. Mason was out again which didn’t surprise me. He usually comes home wasted. Kylie would be here at any moment. I folded the last batch of dried clothes. I placed every garment in their places. I went to reach for my phone but I then remembered I didn’t have one anymore. I heard her soft voice carry itself up the stairs. I grabbed my bag and slowly made my way down the stairs.
“First things first. I got you a new phone.” She pulled out a shiny new iPhone from her bag. She placed it in my hands.
“They managed to get all the old contacts and now they are on this one.” She already downloaded all the apps I used. I opened twitter I needed to know if Austin woke up yet. Two days had passed since I left the hospital. Two days since I left my brother helpless in a hospital bed, my best friend, and the person I fell so in love with. I made a terrible mistake leaving. I’m an idiot for it.

I am grateful for my fans and for my band sticking by my side. I am very sorry for scaring all of you but I promise I am okay and I will be ready for the next tour!
He is awake. I felt the weight lift of my shoulders but all too soon the weight came back down. He would never forgive me. My brother hates me and now doesn’t consider me family anymore. Being the idiot I am I searched Alan’s name.

I had a feeling that tweet wasn’t just about Austin but I might just be reading into it too much. “You didn’t have to get me a phone.”
“I did though. You need to know about your brother. Any news?” She asked.
“He’s awake and he hates me.” I muttered as I locked it and placed it in my pocket.
“He wouldn’t hate you if he knew the reason.” Kylie stated. I knew she is right about that but I had to stay away from them. “Let’s go get food.”
I nodded in agreement. She led the way to the front door and I followed. But my mind wouldn’t leave me alone.

I AM SO SORRY! I know I have been absent from this site and honestly the only excuse i have is school...I have had no time for any social life. I am currently suffering from severe writers block...so if this chapter isn't written well I am sorry. :(
