I was all for you

"Smile Kyler!" Alex said, smiling happily from behind the camera.

Kyler was 5 months old, and it was his first Christmas. He was propped up in front of Alex and Alan's giant Christmas tree, smiling hugely for such a little baby. Alex snapped away and got enough pictures of Kyler to last a lifetime.

"Alex, you go in now. Mommy and Kyler." Alan said, ushering his beautiful girlfriend to go into the picture.

"Alan.. I don't look good in this.." Alex said.

"You look beautiful Alex. Come on. I'll go in after." Alan said, with a smile on his face. Alex stepped into the photo and sat down beside Kyler and pulled him onto her lap. He was giggling uncontrollably which just made Alan and Alex laugh. Alan loved the fact that Kyler was so happy all the time because Alan saw that Alex was happy whenever she was around Kyler, and when Alex was happy, Alan was happy. Kyler just completed them and made them one happy family.

"Okay Alan! Your turn!" Alex said, after Alan took a few pictures of her and Kyler. a few more pictures later and they were ready for opening gifts.

"Kylers first gift" Alex said excitedly. Alan helped Kyler open it and it was a hundred dollar bill.

"Thats from daddy." Alex said, smirking. It was only Christmas Eve so only one present got opened. In the morning Austin and Beth would come over for Christmas morning. Once Alex put Kyler to sleep, she came and cuddled up beside Alan.

"Austin put the announcement up." Alan said smiling widely up at Alex.

"I'm so happy that everything is coming back together." Alex said.

"But you know, even if the band hadn't gotten back together, I would be plenty happy with just you and Kyler. You and him are my life, Alex. I love you more than life." Alan said.

"I love you too Alan. But... I have something to tell you...." Alex sad, looking down sadly.

"Babe, what is it?" Alan said.

"I..... I have cancer.... And I only have 4 months...."
