Alex awoke to the sound of Kyler crying from the other room. Alex groaned and rolled over to get out of bed.

"Babe, are you sure you don't want me to get him?" Nolan asked

"Ya, i got him." Alex said.

When she broke up with Alan she had been single for awhile, but one day while she was working her shift at Starbucks, Nolan came in and they hit it off. Nolan wasn't going to be permanent and Alex knew that, but it was nice having someone there with her. Alex walked to Kylers room and picked him Up out of his crib.

"Hey bud, whats wrong??"
Alex asked as she bobbed him up and down in her arms. All she got were more cries. Whenever she looked at Kyler it was like she was looking at Alan. Kyler had the pale skin and red hair, but he had Alex's brown eyes. She wondered about Alan quite often. She had heard that OMAM broke up, but after she left, she lost contact with everyone.... Even Beth. But she still missed Alan, more than she thought she would. Everyday at she hoped that when she went to work Alan would come into get a coffee, but that never. After feeding Kyler and soothing him, he was finally ready to sleep again. Alex slid back into bed, and layed down beside Nolan wondering how different her life would've been if she had stayed with Alan,


~~~Alan 9 months later~~~


The only sounds in the room were Chelsea and Alan's heavy breathing.

"Alright Alan, that will be $110." Chelsea said finally.

"Chelsea, baby, the price went up since last time." Alan said

"Ya well maybe you could start hooking up with Meagen too! She's cheaper than me!" Chelsea said angrily.

"Fuck you! Here's the money you slut." Alan yelled as he pushed Chelsea out of his room.

Ever since him and Alex broke up he had been sleeping around with various hookers he had met. He'd lost most of his money by gambling it all off and spending it on booze. He thought about Alex everyday though. He regretted getting so angry at her that day, and he regretted saying everything that he had said to Beth. He lost his best friend Austin too. His life had just fallen apart because of being a dick. Whenever he thought about Alex he also thought of Kyler, or whatever Alex decided to name him. Alan knew that Alex probably changed the babies name since she probably wanted to never think of Alan and the time they spent together ever again. Alan also started cutting when Alex left him. If he ever saw his old bandmates or friends they would be so ashamed of him, he just wanted his old life back.


~~~Beth and Austin 9 months later~~~


"Austin honey! Do you want scrambled or over easy?" Beth called up to him.

"Ummmm, scrambled please!" Austin hollered down.

Upstairs he was fumbling around with the ring he bought for Beth. They had been together for a year and they have had an amazing relationship together, he just wasn't sure if Beth would be ready but he loved her and he wanted to prove it to her by asking her to marry him

"Austin what is taking you so long?!?" Beth yelled again, "your eggs are ready!"

"Alright alright baby, Im coming." Austin said.

He put the ring In the velvet black box and shoved it into his pant pocket. He went down the stairs and saw Beth at the door getting the mail. When she turned around, Austin chuckled to himself because Beth had pancake mix on her face.

"What are you laughing about?!" Beth said

"Ahah, you got a little something on your cheek." Austin said.

He walked over to her and wiped her cheek and then passionately kissed her, but before it went any further Austin pulled away and got down on his knee.
"Beth, we've been together for a year now, and I know we've had our ups and downs but I'd say that it's been mostly ups lately, so I know that you don't like the 'M word' but i dont know how much more I can express my love for you without asking you, Beth, to marry me."
Beth didn't answer him, at first she just gasped. Austin looked up and saw tears in her eyes.

"Austin.... I....."

Ohoooo, I wrote this while I was in the car for like 12 fucking hours. I have wifi in this hotel so thats a good thing!

i hope you all don't hate me for the plot twist but don't worry, everything will be good in the story!
