The Twisted

The False Alarm

I went over to Jaime and sat down. He looked up and offered me his chocolate bar. I leant down and took a bite. Jaime wrapped his arm around me and started flicking my stomach. "Ow, stop it," I giggled.
"What?" he smiled.
"That hurts,"
"Why is it pointing down now?" he asked seriously.
"That means the baby will be coming soon,"
"Really? How soon?"
"I don't know," I laughed. Jaime got down on his hands and knees in front of me.
"Hey, my bro!" Jaime yelled. "When you out? We can go get some drinks, pick up some women, teach you to hit that ass,"
"Shut up!" I said and laughed loudly.
"What does it feel like?" Jaime asked as he sat back up next to me.
"Right now?" I asked. "Okay, imagine having three packs of tampons hammered up your vagina. They've gone right up and have formed into one big ball. Now the ball is heavy and coming out slowly and all you can feel is pressure,"
"Wow, that's not good,"
"No, it isn't," I smiled. "And I have to pee a lot," I told him. "Like now,"
"You okay getting up?" he asked.
"I know I'm fat and moody and completely hideously pregnant but I can do this," I told him easily. I sat up a little before I stood up. I walked over to the bathroom but I had to stop halfway and grab the counter. I gasped and put all of weight on it. I felt everything south of my hips tighten and clench. Fuck. I breathed deeply for a second and felt Jaime behind me.
"You okay?" he asked carefully.
"No. Shit," I spat.
"What's happening?" he asked.
"It hurts," I told him.
"Are you in labour?!" he rushed.
"I don't know. I don't know what it feels like. Jaime, help me," I muttered.
"What shall I do? Do you need to go to a hospital?"
"Maybe. I don't know," I nearly cried.
"I'm going to get your bag, you get your coat," he told me. I nodded and put my jacket on. He came back a minute later with Abby, Vic and Tony following him.
"Where's Mike?" I rushed.
"I don't know, he went out," Vic said.
"Call him for me," I begged.
"How're we going to get there?" Abby asked.
"We'll have to find someone to take us. Our driver isn't here," Tony said. He opened the door for me and helped me down. We started walking across the parking lot where we were and saw Of Mice come out of their bus.
"Hey man! That boy still chillin' up your shoot?!" Alan called.
"Al'," I cried.
"What's wrong?" he asked urgently.
"She might be in labour," Jaime told him.
"Or she might not be," Tony added.
"Shit!" Alan gasped.
"How you getting to a hospital?" Austin asked.
"I don't know, our driver isn't here," I told them.
"Same," Tino said.
"Go see Bring Me," Phil urged.
"Hurry," Aaron told me and I glared. They helped me over to Bring Me's bus and knocked on the door. Lee answered and his eyes widened at us.
"Can you drive us to the hospital?" Jaime rushed.
"Sure. What's wrong?" Lee asked.
"My homie's in labour!" Alan called.
"Shit," Oli muttered. We all got onto the bus and they helped me sit down.
"Mike isn't answering his phone," Vic told me.
"The bastard!" I spat.
"Does it hurt?" Alan asked me seriously.
"No, I'm just scared," I told him quietly.
"Still nothing," Vic frowned.
"Give me your phone," I ordered. Vic passed me his phone and dialled Mike's number. It went right to voicemail. "Mike, where the fuck are you?!" I demanded. "You need to fucking call me back or I will fucking strangle you with your baby's own umbilical cord before I fucking decapitate you. You fucking fuck fuck fucktard!" I hissed and hung up.
"Wow," Vic muttered. I let Alan hug me as we drove. My phone started to ring as we pulled up outside the hospital doors. I answered it as I gasped again.
"What?" I spat.
"Kayleigh? What's with the message? I went to see a dealer and then was on the phone with my mum," he explained.
"Get to the hospital," I started crying.
"What's happened? Calm down, babe,"
"I might be in labour,"
"What do you mean you might?" he asked carefully.
"I don't know what it's supposed to feel like. But I need you here, I'm so scared, Mike,"
"Okay, I'm coming right now," he told me. "Just keep on breathing, Kay'. I love you," I smiled.
"I need to go," I told him.
"Okay, I love you. I'll see you soon, I promise," he soothed.
"Come on," Vic told me. They helped me out and we walked inside the hospital. Jaime found a wheelchair and wheeled me down to the maternity ward. Honestly it didn't hurt, it was just a strange sensation. But everyone is making such a fuss, I don't like to tell them that.
We got to the ward and the woman at the desk asks who I would like to take with me. I choose Alan and Abby and Vic so if I have the baby and he isn't here I can pretend he's Mike. I don't think I'm allowed that many people but Alan has been flirting with the midwife. She took me into a room and asked me to change into a gown. I did and Mike walked in. He sighed in relief at me and ran over. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed me urgently on the lips.
"Are you okay? Have you had him yet?" Mike rushed.
"No," I shook my head. The midwife came over and closed the door. She went to examine me and in unison Vic and Alan covered their eyes with their hands. She bent down between my legs and frowned.
"You're not in labour," she told me firmly.
"What?" I gasped. "But I felt it,"
"You felt Braxton Hicks contractions. Just the uterus contracting and relaxing ready for labour. Nothing to worry about, completely normal," she explained.
"So I can go?" I asked anxiously.
"Oh yes. Of course," she smiled and strode out of the room.
"This was stupid," I muttered.
"No, you didn't know. You did the right thing," Mike told me.
"Stupid Jaime making me panic," I grumbled as I put my clothes on.
We went back out into the waiting room to find it overrun with all eleven band members and a few tech.
"Where's the baby?" Jaime asked brightly.
"Shut up," I muttered.
"What?" Matt N asked.
"She didn't have him," Mike told them.
"Oh," Jaime said quietly and looked down.

Notes

Hey! What did you think? Baby drama is going down! Jaime isn't a good guy to have around in an emergency, is he? Any predictions? :)

@Jokerdabae
It's no longer up! I had a block and only got one chapter in anyway. But One Hundred Sleepless Nights and Buiscuits, Senior Year and the Fuentes Family is something similar that you'll probably like, one is a Vic story, the other is a Mike one xx

Is the sequel link not working or is it just my stupid phone??
