Forgive Me- Part 1

Jaime's POV

I hadn't heard from Amelia in days. Normally that wouldn't bother me too much because she loses track of time easily, but if she ever misses a call from me she always calls back. I'd called her at least three times and each time it went straight to voicemail. At first I thought her phone may have gone flat but she charges it at night and it's gone straight to voice mail three days in a row. What if something happened to her?

"You okay Himes?" Vic asked sitting down next to me.

"Yea, just worried about Amelia"

"She still hasn't called?" I shake my head at him and he rubs my back soothingly "it's okay man, I'm sure nothing happened... Hey I know, didn't you organise with her friend so you could run out on us?"

"Yea?"

"Do you still have her number?"

"Vic you are a genius!" I kissed his forehead over dramatically before grabbing my phone and calling Becca.

"Hello?" A voice grumbled.

"Hey it's Jaime"

"Why are you calling me at 4:00 in the morning?"

"Shit, sorry I forgot about the time difference"

"That's okay, what's up?"

"Have you heard from Milly recently?"

"Not in a couple of days why?"

"Ohh, I've been trying to call her for the past few days I keep just getting her voicemail."

"Weird, want me to go check up on her for you?"

"That would be fantastic"

"Okay, well I'm going back to sleep, I'll text you when I see her"

"Thank you! Sorry for waking you!"

"I forgive you so long as it doesn't happen again"

"Deal"

I feel a bit better once I've hung up. Yes I'm still worried and I still have no idea what's going on with Amelia but at least now I know that soon I will.

I refuse to go to bed, it's 3 am now and I still haven't head back from Becca. Yea, I know that it's still only 10 am in Australia but still, I won't be able to sleep until I know what's happening. Waiting, waiting and more waiting. Seriously? What time does she plan on heading over? Suddenly my phone vibrates and I feel a little guilty about mentally abusing Becca

From Becca: all is good, she destroyed her phone

To Becca: what do you mean destroyed?

From Becca: she showed it to me and it's completely shattered

To Becca: how did that happen?

From Becca: she broke up with Isaac and took it out on her phone.

To Becca: shit... Is she okay?

From Becca: not exactly, I'm taking her into the city today to get her a new phone and when I do I need you to call her, like ASAP.

To Becca: why what happened?

From Becca: she hasn't eaten in a week and won't let me feed her... Normally when she doesn't it it's because she forgets; now she just refuses.

To Becca: shit, okay, send me her new number as soon as you can okay?

From Becca: okay

Shit, I knew it! I fucking knew something was wrong! How could she do this to herself? Is she really that torn up about breaking up with Isaac? Did she love him that much? Maybe I should never have gotten involved in her life; maybe if I had just stayed away like I was supposed to she would still be with him and still be happy and eating. God what have I done? I'm destroying her...
