I Still Think You're Beautiful
Three
There were tour buses everywhere. I don't think I expected this many. There were security around and you could see other bands opening their doors. Vic looked at me seriously and I smiled warmly back. “Who we going to?” Jaime asked.
“We can drop in on the Sleeping boys,” Vic said. We stopped in front of a bus and I wrapped my arm around Vic. He looked at me and his face softened. “Don’t try to pull any of your shit, Lyssa,” he warned.
“What shit?”
“You know what shit,” he frowned. “Especially with these guys,”
“Whatever,” I shrugged.
“Right?” Jaime said confused. He pulled a face and I watched him. God he was sexy.
“Yo!” Vic called and banged on the door.
“Who is it?” someone asked.
“Let me in,” Vic said and the door opened. A guy with black hair opened it for us. He stepped off the bus to hug Vic and clapped him on the shoulder as he walked inside. He did the same to Jaime and then stopped when he saw me.
“You I’m not going to hug,” he laughed.
“Why not?” I pouted and walked inside.
“My sister, Alyssa,” Vic introduced me.
“Hi, I’m Kellin,” the guy said and smiled. “I’ll introduce you to the boys,” he said. I looked around, there were four other guys sat nearby. “This is Jesse, Gabe, Justin and Jack,” he introduced them. They waved over at me and I pushed the hair away from my face.
“Cool,” I smiled lightly.
“Hey Vic, Jaime. I’ve had this idea for King for a Day that I’m really stoked out,” Kellin said.
“What idea?” Jaime asked.
“I’m not talking about riffs or anything, just some things I thought we could do with the crowd,”
“Sure, do you want to talk about it?” Vic asked. Kellin gestured to the back lounge and they followed him. The other guys looked at me and I sat down on the sofa in between Jack and Jesse. Jesse looked down on me and I rested my hand on his shoulder.
“You play guitar, right?” I asked.
“Rythem,” Jesse sighed.
“I’ve got a real thing for guitar,” I said softly in his ear. "It's so attractive,"
“Really?” he laughed.
“So, you’re Vic’s sister,” Justin said pointedly.
“Yeah,” I said and pulled away from Jesse. I saw Vic walk back and I stood up.
“We’re going back, Lyssa. Kellin’s coming so we can work things out with the guys,” he explained.
“Awesome,” I said. Kellin, Vic and Jaime walked out and I stayed behind for a minute. “I’ll see you later,” I said and smiled at Jesse. He waved to me and I walked out of the bus and shut the door behind me. I heard laughing from inside but I hurried to follow Vic.
